    Lump down there! Please help

Im 17 years old and I noticed a small bump down not in my vagina but right on the outer part of it and I really thought nothing of it that is until it got bigger and hurts just to sit or stand wrong. The bump is like firm and fells like a ball almost inside it. Its so sensative to the touch and is just red. Please help I'm so scared and don't know what to do.

It's most likely an ingrown hair. Have your Mom take you to the DR. Just to make sure.

It is probably a Bartholin's cyst. I have had one for over 15 years but mine never got really big. (it's about the size of a pea) I have tried some home remedies and it went down a bit, but it's still there. It will sometimes get really big and infected and the doctor can drain it. Mine has just stayed the same annoying size and the doctors won't touch it. Try warm compresses and sitz baths. If it is infected you will have to see the doctor.
