Continuous bleeding, extremely irregular periods, doctors won't help :(

Hi guys I'm new to this and really need some help. I've had enough and started to get angry and upset at the moment...

I'm 19, I have had extremely irregular periods since 15, for example, being on for months and months, coming off for months, then on for a day and off for a few months...etc... Completely unpredictable!

I have been on the injection contraception from the age of 15 to 15 and a half, to the mini pill or whatever it is at 16 til 17, I have been clear of any contaception from then and between contraception and for the past nearly 3 years I have had unprotected sex, still no pregnancy!

After years and years of going to the doctors, none would help until 3.5 months ago when a doctor suggested PCOS, which fitted in with my excessive hair growth mainly on my face.

I was asked to take a blood test as soon as I can on however i was in Egypt then. So for the past 3.5 months I have been continuously bleeding heavy, as in 3-5 soaked super tampons a day!!

I am feeling week, everything aches, I'm just drained, I work in the catering industry and constantly on the move and I'm feel like I've had enough, I have no energy, I have no confidence and I'm really at the end of my tether.

My longest "period" has been 7-8 months straight, same heaviness as mentioned above. My longest break between has been 7-8 months. However once I was on for 7-8 months, off for 1 week and back on for another 3 months.

I don't know if I can see a gynaecologist on the NHS without a referral which my doctors haven't given me.

    Please please help!!!

    Thanks x

Ok. Well to start. I think you should take some slow relase Iron pills. Iron is what you are bleeding out from your blood and that will make you tired, sleepy and you can go anemic from bleeding all the time.
You might have a thyroid problem. Get that checked sometime. Its just a blood test.
Some women just have a harder time with periods but that doesn't seem to be your problem.
I'm not a doctor so you just need to go in and check it out.
attitude..it follows us around. It can be like a smelly sock or a sweet perfume. Others can tell. Be confident.

Seriously, what kind of doctors have you been seeing ? If they cannot treat your case at least they should refer you to a specialist... I believe you can go direct to a gynae without referral... Please seek treatment asap...

And also, why are you on contraception at such an early age ?
