    I'm very very scared.

My period is usually always regular - right on time.

My period is not 4 months late and there is NO way I could possibly be pregnant, I'm very very concerned and I don't have health insurance to see a doctor, I'm hoping every day that my period will appear and there is supposedly some talk of "after-teen years" your body changing more, (I'm 19), and having irregular periods.

I also stopped smoking earlier in the year, but I had periods even after quitting smoking. I recently just started smoking, again.

I haven't really been stressed (that i've realized, at least?) Is there something really wrong with me? My friends tease me about how I'm dying and i'm very scared. My mother thinks nothing is wrong with me so there's no need for me to go see a doctor. Please help.

It happens. When I was your age, one time I didn't get my period for 7 months and I knew I wasn't pregnant. Stopping smoking can be a stress on your body (meaning its something new to adjust to). Any other changes like caffeine or anything can impact things. If you are really scares, go to the local Planned Parenthood. They usually have cheap healthcare options for women.

I agree with the above post. At your age, I went 6 months with out one. They tried everything to help me get it and nothing worked. Then one day I got it as if it had never stopped.
