My period has been considerably lighter this month and shorter. It's usually fairly heavy for the first 2 days then more of a medium flow. This time though, it's been barely what i'd call a period.

I've been having some cervical mucus through the last couple of days too. This isn't a sign of pregnancy is it?

When looking at the female organs nothing surprises me. If your uneasy take a home p/g test or wait for another cycle and see if it is more normal.

I only had sex a week ago and i read that you need to wait 3 weeks before taking a test? Something about that's the time you'll start producing the pregnancy hormone.

Maybe i should wait until my next cycle

Do wait. You can take the test if you want, just to relax yourself, becuase sometimes your period can be late because of stress! I'm in the same situation as you are, exept i also had brown/black discharge. I'm going to the ginecologist next week, but i'd say if you had a light period, no weird spotting or weird discharge, just take a p/g test, and if its negative, take another one next month if your period is light again, just to be 100% sure you aren't pregnant

Thanks for your advice. I didn't have any spotting etc and i'm up to date with cervical smears etc.

I'm not that spooked anymore because i was a bit stressed the week before and during my period so maybe that's it
