Very weird symptoms after period, lots of pain and need advice

I had a fairly normal period last week, slightly shorter then normal but flow was the same. The night after I had very bad cramps that kept me awake for two hours, I was writhing. It took awhile for the advil to kick in but the pain went away. I started getting sinus type headaches, and a pressure on my bladder. Feeling bloated, simply like there is a pressure down all the time. These symptoms decrease when Im active at work. Four days later I have been up every night in writhing pain. I get up at 5 for work and have been spending two to four hours a night in agony. The cramps are migratory and feel like extreme period cramps. Im prone two bad cramps, but only in the first two to three days of my cycle. Never had cramps through out and after a period. I have had a paragard for about 6 months, and while it has slightly changed things about my period it hasn't been that dramatic at all and things have evened out with it. I've been having to pee frequently and getting random pain twinges through out the day.
I some milky white discharge yesterday, and had sex last night, and while not painful I did feel a lot of pressure. Cramps were worst after, and I spotted light pink that night and morning. Kind of freaked out, extremely frustrated from lack of sleep and desperate for advice. Can't see gyno until the 27th, and wasn't able to get a doctor on the phone and won't until Monday. Would love some advice.

Finally got the doctor on the phone and they said they wanted to see me right away, going in the morning. Spotted for two days, stopped, and now I'm bleeding a bit more. Doesn't look like period blood, lighter. Very glad I'm finally going to be seen...been worried and in pain for over a week now...

I hope you are less worried right now.
And I am so sorry no one replied to you first post on the 17th .

There are just so many, period and possible pregnancy and discharge and itching and cramps and pain .. Threads here , that it is so very hard to answer each and every one of them.

Know your post was read and though not responded to in a " personal " response by 275 views and many of the long time members here , Myself being one of them .

It may just be that repetition is exhausting to some.

After 3 plus years here , there are only so many ways I personally can respond with .

#1 See a Dr. if it hurts. We can support you but not diagnose you .

#2, Do some research ,even here on WH and search your problem. You will most likely find hundreds of
others Experiences on here with a Similar problem , some that date back to 2008.

#3) Please read or search the Topic, if possible, in the search bar at the top (right ) and see if you can help others that are in a similar position. When you find a solution please share .

~Note~ that some of the posts are from 2008 -2012, they are not "Active" per say . But there are tons of information and support from those posts and responding posts .

Let us know how it goes

Thank you for the response. I'm sure all these threads can get tiresome, but I think we all simply want a, 'this is normal' or 'this is abnormal' response, these things can be quite scary. Obviously most people on this forum aren't doctors and can't properly diagnose. My post was made with a call to the doctor and a few hours logged on google. Just didn't want to feel crazy and wanted to know I was doing the right thing for my body while I waited for my chance to talk to a professional. My goal was to find someone who had 'abc' symptoms and 'xyz' results, and therefore could forward me in the right direction immediately. Hopefully I'll find out what is ailing me today and peace of mind can be found.

What I have found through my searches on women's health is that the symptoms for one ailment are the same for another. Ovation cysts have the same signs of pregnancy. The women body seems to let us know something is wrong without many clues to what it is!

We are more than happy to hear your problem and try to help ease your mind.

What I meant was that reading the others posts and replies , might give you some comfort in finding an abc or xyz that is something that you can grasp onto, someone somewhere may have posted something that you will go " hey, maybe I should ask my Dr. this or that " ?

Lol , that is so true, frustrating but true. It can be scary, not knowing exactly what is causing the symptoms, but being able to list each and every symptom and what can cause it helps in determining the cause. Even bringing up to the Dr. " I read this or that " might help them determine what tests to actually do.

You are not Crazy in the least, you are in tune with your body and instead of ignoring it, you are questioning the cause . Until you see the Dr. try to relax , take notes of what is going on and when. Is there more pain in morning or night , laying down or bending, that kind of thing .

Try not to think the worst , know we care and are praying that it's just a simple "normal " thing that many women go through .
One of my daughters had an ultrasound and they found cysts in her Ovary, when she was like 23, very painful, she was put on meds and they went away without Surgery . She's 32 now and no repeat of cysts so far .

Wishing you the Best , keep your Chin up and Stress level down ..
Take care .Let us know what you find out .

It sounds like you have a UTI. Ask your GYNO to do a urine culture which they send out for 2 days to get tested. It will show a lot more results then a simple dip stick test the doc does in-house. See my posting today on URO GYNO for my story.
