Seeking advice and possible answers on heavy bleeding during ovulation!

I am19 yrs old and always had a normal period until now.. Ive been sexually active for almost two yrs in April. In early 2012 i started having issues with my period coming late and light spotting between periods and even skipped one period back in February 2012. I took few home pregnancy tests and all were negative until October of 2012 when i took two tests both saying pregnant but since then i still get my periods monthly but they are now all irregular in some way. Today i am experiencing heavy bleeding during ovulation and i had sex about a week ago which i also started bleeding. Im also cramping really bad.. I did a little research thats scares me so before i go to my doctor i wanted to know if someone could relate or even know my issue.. Anyone knows what is going on with me?:/

I must add i nvr been on birth control i dnt take any medications, and i bleed heavily after orgasms, and all my periods are usually light with painful cramping. Also me n my bf dnt use condoms

You DO need to see your doctor. Bleeding does not rule out pregnancy - some people still bleed and carry a healthy fetus to term! You need to get to an OB office ASAP, Monday morning, first thing. Tell them about the October 2012 positive tests. Tell them about the bleeding.

Have you taken any further tests since the positive ones? Even if further tests have been negative, you still need your doctor to verify that everything is okay in your uterus - that if there was a miscarriage, it was complete and that you don't have a life-threatening infection.

Yes, this is a potentially life-threatening situation. If you can afford an ER visit, you should probably go. They will generally have an OB on call who can tell you whether you're pregnant and if you're not, potentially decide what happened to the pregnancy you had in October. S/he probably can't prescribe you birth control (unless you're TTC? It wasn't clear in your post.) If you absolutely can't afford an ER visit, waiting until Monday probably won't kill you.

I am in full agreement with Little. While society often tells us that all women are the same... we are most certainly not. Not all women KNOW they are pregnant when they are. When a pregnancy test comes back positive, that means (unless the test is faulty) that your body is producing the pregnancy hormone.

When you say you "bleed during ovulation", I'm curious as to how you determine that you are ovulating? Have you always bled after orgasms, or just recently?

      Please see a doctor asap.

Im not absoutly sure if im ovualting i just check on ovuation calculators.. but really used to go by my cervical mucus but the bleeding actually gets in the way that i dont see it so much.. The bleeding after oragasms starting just recently i failed to mark about when it started but its been a couple of months now... Ill be going first thing monday morning!

You can buy a test from the drug store to find out with reasonable accuracy whether you're still pregnant or that you've miscarried. It will also give you important information to supply to your doctor.

In the future, any time you get a positive pregnancy test, you need to see a doctor to verify the pregnancy and initiate prenatal care, terminate, or document the miscarriage. This last one is important if, in the future, you decide to deliberately conceive and have issues. In many places, you need to miscarriage 3 times before doctors will investigate (or insurance will pay for the investigation.) Miscarriages are horrible experiences, whether the pregnancy was deliberate or not, and having to go through an extra one because of poor medical care would be awful.

Since you're not TTC, and your ability to chart your cycles has been interrupted by pregnancy and irregular bleeding, you need to find another method of conception control. Please ask your doctor about it when you see him/her.
