Here's my advice for anyone going through the same thing. I posted a response like this one on someone's post but I'd like more people to see this. Definitely see a doctor, do not wait, if you do you may end up with long term issues which is certainly not what you want! You should have have urinary tests done, & make sure they check for foreign things, sometimes it'll just come up as e.coli though. It may be a UTI which is very common. They may put you on anti biotics also which isn't a bad thing because a lot of the time the symptoms you have can be treated easily, unless it's reoccurring or more severe. You should see a gynecologist, let them see if things are fine down there. Do another urine test for things like chlamydia, if you've had sexual partners of course. Book to see a specialist, a urologist, again if you have a sexual history tell the urologist, if you've had operations, things like that, tell them, they'll also check to see if things are fine down there. They want to know if you've had operations and things like that because your operation may have caused a reaction to something else(the reason you're getting burning urine, etc). I've had scoliosis, so this was considered as something important. Ask about a cystoscopy. There may be a problem with the bladder/kidneys.
A physio is next, it may be a pelvic floor disfunction. They'll also check what's going on. Something may be inflamed or it may be muscular pain, etc. A physio obviously can tell if your muscles in certain areas are tight or loose, which can also be considered as the reason for the pain.
Also, have Epsom salt baths or just warm baths.
Use a heat pack on your abdominal/pelvic muscles or lower back.
Panadeine works great and neurofen plus too.
Avoid scented things down there.
When in pain lie on your side.
Squeeze your vagina muscles tight and then release, this helps to try to relieve the pain & relax the muscles.
Drink lots of water!
Drink cranberry juice, take cranberry tablets & hiprex tablets.
Ural helps a lot too, it may be cystitis.
Sometimes at the start they may think it's thrush, so you may be given canesten.
If you have the urge to pee, I know it's hard to hold back but lie on your side with a heat pack if you can & drink lots of water & try to relax your muscles. The more water you drink the more urine you'll actually pass when you go to pee.
If you happen to get to a stage where you feel like you've been taking a lot of anti biotics you should take inner health plus tablets. I've worked at a chemist for almost 3 years & I've used them myself, so I know they're great.
Oh and it can also be caused by stress so if you stress or if you're angry it can inflame the muscles.
If it is reoccurring & you're finding a pattern, for example, the week before your period you have pain, it may be considered that your body is reacting to things inside which is frustrating your body which causes your burning urine sensation.
This is all I can think of at the moment, I hope it helps!
