I've only noticed this yesterday but I'm becoming concerned...I've noticed a small nub protruding from the back of my vagina and thick white discharge. The nub is not sore or itchy but the skin around the vaginal opening is slightly itchy, but this itching is only on and off.

I'm only 19 and am sexually active...

I've researched a lot and have read about thrush, cysts and skin tags etc...I'm so confused, advice?

Could this be why sex becomes painful very quickly?

It sounds like some sort of infection, it sounds like thrush but there is no way to be sure unless you see your OBGYN

Hell Pink this could be exactly why sex becomes painful so very quickly, I would suggest you abstain from sexual intercourse until you have see a doctor. Good Luck
