Vaginal Burning Without Yeast or Bacteria Issues

I am new to this forum and have noticed alot of posts regarding continual vaginal burning without the yeast or bacterial issues. My daughter has had this issue for over 2 years now. She had been treated for several yeast and bacterial vaginoisis problems, H-pylori and a bout of C-Diff in 2011. She's also had a kidney transplant, which has further complicated these issues (as she is inmunosupressed). It is my understanding that longterm antibiotic use as well as the use of vaginal creams for treatment of BV and Yeast, can cause residual issues. My daughter has been complianing of horrid vaginal burning and pain and stomach burning and pain, but each time she is tested for yeast or bacterial vaginosis, the tests come back "normal". We've been to so many doctors now (OB/GYN's, Infectious Disease, Gastroenterogist) and nothing and no one can seem to address this issue. My daughter has taken Difflucan, Nystatin and several OTC creams, RePhresh, prescription vaginal creams (Metro gel, Terconazole, etc.), some naturopathic remedies and this makes no difference in the burning and pain it's constant. All of these physicians have become irritated and just as frustrated as were are, but do nothing and dismiss my daughter - they think that we are a couple of hypochondriacs and/or blame this issue on my daughter's transplant!!! I guess it's easier just to walk away from this.

I just read on another post that it could be something called Residual Intracellular Fungal Infection (which is dormant candida) which takes hold inside of cells deep in the tissues. This problem is referred to as: Chronic Atrophic Erythomatous Candiasis. This explanation is really the only thing that makes any sense to me, but need to do further research. My daughter also has Autism and this really seems like the only plausible explanation to me (those with Autism usually have longerm yeast issues and leaking gut syndrome). The yeast doesn't necessarily register on any "testing" as it hides deep within the walls of the intestines, stomach and vagina. Apparently the only cure is longterm antifungal therapy and antifungal local creams. Physician's just don't want to think outside of the box on this one and will continue to prescribe "mainstream" fixes which don't work. This has made our lives a living hell!!!!!!

Could really use some feedback on this issue.

Hello gemgirl52, working in the medical field I know that antibiotics kill all bacteria, even the good bacteria therefore, leaving you immunocompromised. How is your daughter's diet?
