I am 20 yrs old and my period stopped coming.
In march of 2012 i stopped having a period. I thought i was pregnant because me and my fiance have been trying. Taking tests come up negative. As of yesterday, march 14 2013 i started my period but only to find 5 hours later it was gone. I have searched and searched and searched for an answer but i haven't found one yet. I wasn't spotting. When my period came yesterday it was light, like a pink slightly red with few clots. I am still having cramps as if it were going to start back up again. I can't go to a doctor for i have no money to do so. I just need answers or something please! -
It may be due to a hormonal imbalance? Unfortunately it is impossible to find out about that without going to a doctor, but maybe there is a free clinic close to where you live? You could always try that.
Otherwise... I read stress can apparently delay ovulation and thus delaying your period, but you went a year without a period, so I think that is unlikely. I'm afraid a doctor is the only way here. -
im 21 years old now and i had surgery in january of this year because mine was non stop for 4 months. went to all kinds of doctors obgyns and they kept telling me nothing was wrong. well they did a d&c hysteroscopy to get me to stop. now that its started again its been non stop for a month. went to and obgyn yesterday and they told me my hormones were imbalanced. they also told me that if i hadnt started it was due to hormonal imbalance. you may need to see a doctor of some sort even if it is at a free clinicComment
