Help
I am 28 and mum of three and my life has now turned upside down as I can't work or anything! Had severe abdominal cramps two months ago and all ultrasounds. Was all norm except fluid cyst on right ovary of no concern. Was poss polyps in bladder as well but they have been ruled out due to cystoscopy. I've also had clear smear and clear ct. I had abnormal bleeding of a substantial amount about two months ago as well. Since then I have had bearing down pressure, lower back pain, no periods- yes for two months!, mid back pain, and shooting pains through vaginal wall which are unbearable! I am not pregnant. The docs have repeatedly tested. What on earth can be causing this. I am desperate to return to work but due to high amount of physical work involved in my job I just can't. I have also been tested for all infections and I am clear. I feel gasey and can't eat too much although I am eating. -
Have they ruled out Endometriosis ?
Some women with endometriosis don't have symptoms. Other women have symptoms that range from mild to severe. Symptoms may include:
Pain, which can be:
Pelvic pain.
Severe menstrual cramps.
Low backache 1 or 2 days before the start of the menstrual period (or earlier).
Pain during sexual intercourse.
Rectal pain.
Pain during bowel movements.

How would they test for endo? I have started bleeding now. Hoping its a full period. Was in a lot of pain last night and again today but it not like my normal period pains. It is severe back pain and when I walk I get these shooting pains up through vaginal wall which are unbearable and stop me in my tracks.Comment

Google Endometriousis , read up a bit on it. See if it may mimic some of your symptoms. If so make an appointment with your Gyno.
Ask them to check for it.
Make a list of your actual symptoms, When it happens, time of day, before or after Periods are happening. Pain level, anything that may help them start looking for the cause .
Also you mentioned feeling Gassy ?
That can be Intestinal, have them check for IBS too. Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Study that on Google too, make a checklist of those symptoms and see if any of them are similar to what you are going through ?
Good Luck, hope you feel Better soon .

I am going to see gyno on Tuesday. Had another extremely painful night and spoke to my mum last night. She says my symptoms mimic those she had before diagnosed with ovarian cancer! I thought this was ruled out by ultrasound but mum tells me all ultrasound found for her was cyst and it wasn't until surgery that cancer was discovered. Do you think I can demand the blood test? Also if endo will they give me surgery? I just want a life without pain whatever that takes. I have had my children so am not worried about preservation of female parts. This is defo not ibs. I have never been food sensitive and one doc has already tried diagnosing ibs whilst others shook their heads and laughed. Does ibs cause abnormal bleeds extreme enough to need medication from a&e, no. Does ibs Change forever regular periods in both timing, weight and type, I doubt it.Comment
