I'm sure you know these Basic Instructions
1
Open the maxipad's wrapper. To do this, gently pull apart the flaps located in the center of the wrapper.
2
Remove the maxipad from its wrapper. As you are doing this, you will notice that the maxipad is folded up. Go on and unfold it as you are removing the wrapper.
3
Tear off the strip of paper located on the back of the maxipad. Make sure you do this slowly, because if you tear too fast, you might leave some of the paper behind. When this happens, the maxipad loses its adhesiveness.
4
Press the maxipad against the seat of your underwear. Make sure it is right in the middle, since this helps avoid leakage.
5
Properly dispose of your old maxipad. If you’re changing out maxipads, you will want to ensure that you're throwing them away in the right manner. The easiest way to do this is to fold the maxipad up and wrap toilet paper around it. If you want to be more meticulous, you can place it back in the new pad's original wrapper. However, bear in mind that if your maxipad is really soaked, your hands might get messy doing things this way. In most situations, toilet paper is better, but just make sure that the pad and its contents aren’t exposed.
There are some with " Wings " after you place the Maxipad firmly in the Pantie, then remove the Tab covering of one Wing, press evenly and firmly to the underside of the Panty. Do the same with the Other Wing.
I found when I used them it was Easiest to sit on the Toilet Panties mid thigh. legs spread till panties were tight, it made the Center part seem Straight and Firm. Some panties have a " Crotch section, where there is a Front and back " seam/stitching. Pull them up Evenly and make sure any " Hairs are Tucked in to the actual Panty Area, so the hair doesn't get Stuck in any of the Adhesive . OUCH !!
Another " Tip " I have that worked really well for me.. Was.... I used a Full sized Bikini Bottom. Not the skimpy ones, but the ones that actually meet at the Belly Button or low waist. They are made of thicker material and most have a little Expansion to them, so they fit tighter (so as to not fall off while Diving ) lol
Those were My " Period Panties ". I rarely bought them New, I got them at Thrift Shops. for a $1 -$3. Of course I washed them in Bleach and I didn't care if they Faded.. They were Period Panties only .There was no way I was paying $25-$50 for a Matching Bikini. Just to use the Bottoms.
It was kinda Funny, as I would walk around our House or Yard by the pool ( Southern California ) Hubby would come home, see me in my Period Panties/ Swim suit , and he knew there was No " Nookie " for a few days .
Hope this helps ..

Yes, the kind of underwear is important. Otherwise you cannot feel comfortable with a maxi pad because it is bigger than your underwear itself is.
And I also think while wearing a maxi pad, you never feel as if you had totally no "special days". There are small pads that you can forget during the day but with a maxi pad it feels different from normal. I often use them because I feel more secure with them and I accept being reminded of my period rather than the risk of bleeding into the underwear...
Oh, I always think you wouldn't understand what I mean because English is not my mother tongue and I barely ever speak it. So the internet is the only place where i can use and practise it and I always feel so out of words when I'm writing something. Sorry!Comment
