Told I have Thrush but tests say otherwise??
I had been itching badly inside for a while and had a thick creamy discharge (sorry). My doctor took swabs and her words were "Oh yes, your very thrushy". When my results came back, everything was normal. What on earth?? After using the Canesten Duo, everything cleared up so it goes to show it was thrush surely?

Perhaps the tests were just wrong? Because the meds worked it sounds like it must have been thrush. If it starts happening regularly it would be a good idea to go back to your GP. Otherwise I wouldn't worry too much now that it's gone.Comment
