I have been on my period for 2 months straight!! :(
I'm Sara, 18. And I have always had irregular periods. I got my first period when I was 13 but at age 14 I went to the doctor n found out I had ovarian cysts n so he put me on Yaz birth control to reduce the amount of cyst I had. I was then taken off of Yaz n put on the depo shot cuz Yaz wasnt working for me n I had gained alot of weight from the depo shot n soon taken off the depo shot cuz it just made the cysts worse n so I was put on Loestren birth control n my medicaid/insurance expired cuz i turned 18 so I had to be taken off Loestren birth control n put on a cheaper birth control I could afford n anywho my periods have been irregular n I would have my periods for a week, less than a week or more than a month n then not have my periods for 3-4 months so basically I wouldnt know when my periods would come or go but recently I've been having some really painful cramps n I usually never have cramps n Ive been having headaches n lower back pains n be lightheaded outta no where n been on my period for 2 months now n idk whats going on..I never had a period like this cuz its really heavy. Heavy to where I have to change pads every hour n the blood is bright red n darkish brown. If anyone is going through the same thing n knows what is wrong please reply..idk what else to do. Im sorry for this being so long..

I understand you must be worried but go to a doctor. I was on the depo injection from 16-19 and stopped it wasn't back on it till I was 20 then I just continued to bleed, I bled for 6 weeks until the nurse told me I was immune to the depo and it would just make my bleeding worse, basically doing the complete opposite of what it is supposed to do. I was on the pill and it stopped the bleeding. I do think Juliabob is right, too many bc pills.Comment
