    occasional pain in labia majora

Basically, I'll wake up in the morning and have burning, aching pain in my right labia majora. It only happens every once in awhile, maybe once every few months even, though sometimes more frequently. But it's been happening for years. It's always in the morning. And there's no bump there or anything. Also no risk of STD (I was a virgin when it started happening and I've been with my girlfriend for two years).

To me, it feels like I slept on it wrong it goes away in a few minutes.

When I googled it, nothing matched my symptoms (people always say it's chronic, lasts for hours, happens after sex, etc...) So I'm kind of worried since my version of this symptom is so atypical, it might be cancer or some illness that's more atypical.

But also it could just be that I slept on it wrong?

Please tell me what you think.

To me it sounds like something nerve related, perhaps related to the way you lay when you're sleeping...possibly compressing a nerve. I wouldn't worry too much about it, but would definitely bring it up at my next gyn check up. And yes...you should definitely get one of those now and then.

Sleeping wrong was the first thing that came to my mind. Maybe you are squishing something while laying in certain positions like on your right side.

Thanks you guys it's a relief to know that others don't think it's too serious.
