heavy yellow/green vaginal discharge after period

Ok so basically im on the pill which i take for 3 weeks the stop a week where i have my period, however for this past three months ive continued on to my next pack meaning i miss a period. This month however i took the sugar pills and had a period (sunday to wednesday) but since my period ive been having heavy discharge which is quite watery and greeny/yellow. Sometimes it looks white but the majority yellow. When i wake in the morning it literally just runs out of me. Yesterday i had intercouse but through out a white watery liquid just ran out of me and when i wiped there was a little blood which im assuming is old blood from my period. After a heavy flow of this discharge (a good few times a day) i have cramps, not severe but still cramps. At the beginning i thought it was maybe because i hadnt had a period in 3 months but now that it has been going on for 5 days ive become quite worried

Green? Increased mucous is normal for birth control pills. It's one of the ways they help stop sperm. A whole bunch of off color mucous though could be cause for concern. You might want to discuss it with a doctor and they can test for infections just in case.

More of a yellow but it just seems to be very heavy in the morning when i stand up or during and after intercouse. I know we discharge as a means of cleaning out but i thought the fact i havnt had a period in 3 months may be why there is so much more? Ive never had this before however i was treated for trush last month. There is no smell or itching etc
