Brownish stuff?????
okay, i'm only 13 and i've never had my period. i think i will soon but i have no idea. i've had discharge for awhile and its been normal and stuff but, now im scared. it's all brown now and i've read that happens after you've had your period, but thats not possible in my case. My mom is out of town for awhile and only my dad and brother are home so i don't have a girl to ask. can someone tell me if i could be infected or something, or did this happen to everyone before there first period? please help me! i'm really worried. thanks! -
It's called "spotting," and it's a good indicator that your period will come soon.
How soon is soon? I don't know ... I think mine came within a month or two after I started spotting.
So, don't worry at all about it. Just tell your mom when she comes home that you think you might start your period soon and tell her why. She can get you some pads.
If it starts before she gets back, you might need to tell your dad so he can get you some. Believe me, he knows all about it, after having a wife and kids. It shouldn't embarrass him TOO much
