Hi, I`m 17 years old
For about last 3 months I have had a trouble with my menstrual cycle. Earlier my cycles lasted about 26 or 27 days, but last 3 cycles have been about 23 days. To make matters worse now I don`t know when I am ovulating, because I have ovulationpain 2 weeks before next menstruation and cervical fluid becomes eggwhite 1 week before next period. Before my cycles became shorter I had eggwhite mucus and pain at the same time.
Please tell me is it possible that I have luteal phase defect and should I see the doctor.

Hi. I tried looking up luteal phase defect and I really couldn't find much out about it apart from the main symptom is short or irregular menstrual cycles.
Short or irregular periods could mean many things, it could also mean nothing. I guess the only way you will really know is if you see a doctor. Sorry I couldn't be of much help.

Thanks anyway I don`t have anyone else to tell about my problems and at least someone answered that question

That's why I post here. I can't really talk to my mum about periods and things. And it's nice to hear from people who have gone through the same thing. Also, it helps that it's not face to face
