Hi im a virgin but the start of July i got cysitis the doctor kept saying that its early sign of pregnancy, but now i cant get it out of my head that i am. About a week later i got my period which was very light but my periods have been late since i started them so i never know when they are due. I read once that u can become pregnant even if u dont have sex just if sperm was near the vagina like masturbating or hand love by a partner. I am now so scared i am pregnant, and this morning woke up feeling nauses but didnt throw up!! please help!!!

Dont be silly, your worrying over nothing sweetie! Lots of girls get cystitis...as youve noticed even virgins.A friend of mine used to get it when she drank orange juice that was too strong for her.Please dont worry!
I honestly dont know why your doctor said that.He should never have!

hi well freguent urination was a symptom she tested the urine and said it was bad cystitis and gave me tablets but it didnt clear up so i rang her for a prescription and she kept asking like so i was like did she not test urine correctly. i no im being silly but im just scared like u no. thanks for ur help anyway. nice name by the way im karen too

How are you doing? Any improvement? If the prescription you took did not work, you may just need to try a different one. Some times they don't work for every person.

There are also many other things that can cause irregular bleeding such as stress, illness, and hormone fluctuations. You probably aren't pregnant.

Also, keep in mind that it is true that you can get pregnant (although unlikely) by oral sex with a man. The only way this can happen though, is if his semen gets onto the hands or anything that is inserted into the vagina. It has to be inserted into the vagina and then be able to travel up to the ovaries in order for you to become pregnant. It is unlikely, but possible.

Hello there, I'm 30 and have two children, please do not worry about getting cystitis this is something that any women can get no matter what age they are. I have never heard that this is a first sign of pregnancey so I think that your doctor was very wrong to say this I am sure that this upset you as you are quite young. Please try to drink a bit more I heard that cranberry juice can help in though in dose not taste to good it does help your body. I use this whenever I have Cystitis as it seams to help alot.
