I just recently moved away and had sex with a guy once protected vaginal unprotected oral. I think i may have a yeast infection I only had one before in my lifetime from taking antibiotics.

I have been stressed out trying to find a job and get settled, may have to due with changes in the weather or wearing tight clothing or the fact I was with a new partner. Should I be worried? It's only the second one I've had in life and I'm 30.

Get an exam and get tested for yeast or bacterial infection and also sti if you are not sure of this new partner.

Probably just yeast but good to be sure prior to treatment, if you're not sure.

I did go to the doctor the other day and she did confirm it was a yeast infection I took canesten and my symptoms went away after 2 days. Im figuring it was probably due to stress, lack of sleep, my new shower gel or I basically had been wearing skinny jeans everyday for 2 months. Doc said yeast usually grow in vaginas so that their fairly common.
