Can we get non-sexualized photos of the naked body?

I have been thinking of asking this anyway and I see clowntown might would benefit too.

Several times over the years, I've tried to look for non-sexual images (not drawings) online of womens' bodies to address health worries and it's very hard to do, particularly the more intimate the place. It makes me feel like the entire internet is uptight about it seeming too sexual.

Would it be legal to to start a website featuring photos of womens' bodies, and mens' if they want it, to help us all allay some of our worries? They'd have to be willingly submitted, of course.

But I mean are there so few out there because of guidelines or rules or are they just hard too come by? Who else thinks this would be a good and/or useful thing?

I can see why you would want this. And you are right, it is VERY difficult to find comparison photos of real people.

I don't know what the legal implications would be but I would guess the site would be classified as pornography whether you wanted it to be or not because unfortunately, a site full of naked bodies (sexual or not) will attract people who are online looking for naked bodies....which are most commonly people looking for porn. And porn lovers might actually like the non-sexualized "REAL" pics even better than the actual porn.

There are such sites already. For instance, if you require the need to see herpes pictures, lichen sclerosis, genital warts etc. You just need to type in the correct terminology in your search engine and make certain that safe search is turn off.
That which we forget may as well never really happened.

Wikipedia has photos of many things. From the articles that the photos are attached to, you can come up with terms to search for. Google allows you to restrict the search to images and I'm pretty sure other search engines can do that, too. To be sure, I tried it on [genital warts]. The resulting images were quite graphic but non sexual. You can see what they look like when there are a few, when there are many, on light skin, on dark skin, on genitals, on fingers, on men and on women.

Yes, you can find some examples if you look hard enough, particularly of examples when something is wrong. I've ruled out some things that way.

I don't think it's too hard to find appropriate images, especially of examples when something is wrong with one's body.

Agree with others. You can find non-sexualized images. Try medically informative, educational sites first. Those should be a good source for you. There are plenty of sites that provide medical information on just about everything, images included for most questions. The terminology is key-use medical terms as much as possible.

Have you heard of OMGyes.com? It features real women with real vulvas and offers great info and tips on pleasure and masturbation. You do have to pay to access it, but it's one of the only online sites I can find that shows the female form without over sexualizing it.

I know of one website that does just that: shows some part of the body in a very mild way.
Be aware though, it is meant to be some kind of exhibitionist site. But most of the pictures, i'd say 95%, are really not sexual by nature.
It shows breasts in every form, every age, every shape, every weight... My wife introduced it to me because it helped her accept her body as a teenager. And we have since then shared it with my cousin who had trouble accepting her breasts, it is, in my opinion, a great tool to just show the possibilities and differences.

People also post pictures of their penises, buttocks...
If you think that it might fit in what you are looking for it is called jememontre(.com), french for i show myself. Again, not as sexualized as you might think, as long as you stay away from the comments.
