Bilateral oophorectomy

Hello-
Are there any single-ovaried ladies out there that can speak to fertility and conceiving with only one ovary? I am a 34 yr old who had one ovary removed 14 years ago and am trying to decide if I should consider having a child. Just curious what experiences have been surrounding this situation. Thanks!

I do not have experience with this, but a friend of mine swears by the Teal Hearts network as a welcoming place with a supportive community revolving around ovarian cancer.
