What do you do in public restrooms when you can't flush tampons?
More and more public restrooms at the mall, school, restaurants, have signs posted...Do not flush feminine care products? What is the alternative? Discarding products in visbly dirty stall bins --overflowing with smelly, unsightly, unwrapped items from other women? Why should we have to put up with these conditions. Plus it is a health concern!!!

Flushing feminine products shouldn't be done ANYWAY.It goes to the oceans where it causes more harm.
Public washrooms are usually not the cleanest places anyway, but most have little disposal bins for that kind of thing.Use them, thats why they are there. If it bothers you that much, bring a plastic bag and dispose of them in that and then throw that in a garbage.
I personally just use the bins provided. -

Bins in public restrooms are nasty
The bins in public restrooms are the most contaminated spot in a female restroom. Plus they are unsightly with unwrapped soiled products and smell. I've spent the last two years coming up with a better way to dispose of feminine care product--I designed a small, scented, tie handled plastic bag with an antimicrobial feature built into the bag to inhibit the growth of odor causing bacteria. The bags, called SCENSIBLES are packaged for dispensing from units that attach to stalls in public restrooms. Would love feedback!!!Comment
