I understand your concern, but this is your health you're talking about. You're already having irregular periods. Plz go to the doc. I don't know what insurance you have, but I don't receive things from mine in the mail. If you're concerned about that, could you have things sent to your work address or somewhere else that you'd feel more comfortable? Just a thought. It's scarier not to know if something is wrong. Plz go,k. Take care of youself. What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.Comment

here is a good suggestion
Look up a planned parenthood location in your area. You are old enough to go there. I was told that people with no insurance are allowed one visit per year. Or better yet find a Free clinic that offers free check ups. you will not regret going to the doctor once you go. the people that wait to long to go are the ones that end up getting the bad news. if you had anything wrong with you, the earlier you catch it, the better your chance of defeating it. Cyst are just a common thing that appears in or on our bodies. nothing is hereditary about them. You want to always know whats going on with your body. You could go in with a cold and find out you have asthma also. thats just how much you know whats going on with your body. Please take care o yourself because no one else will.Comment

Please please please you have to go. If you dont want to use the insurance than the suggestion for planned parenthood or the clinic is fine. Anything is better than nothing. Also, you have patient rights so if you need to use your insurance you can have it sent somewhere else. Your doctor cannot disclose anything to anyone without your consent. They give you a form to fill out for release of information and you just state that it is only for you and you alone. Mid-wives are awesome or a lady gyno in general especially for your first time because it will probably make you more comfortable. Im surprised with your family history that your mom hasnt suggested it. My mom died when I was 14yrs old and I had to go to the gyno when I was 18 to start getting checked since a history of problems ran in my family. Go for yourself please you will feel so relieved after you do. Please please please go.Comment
