He is great at pleasuring me to orgasm through manual stimulation and oral, but not during actual sexual intercourse. We have tried different positions but to no avail. The g spot simply gives me the urge to urinate so that does not work either. I don't always need to reach orgasm to have a satisfying sexual experience, sometimes it's just nice being together, but I think my husband feels as though it is something I can control. Is it possible to just not be able to reach is through intercourse? And are there any positions that are better than others that might help?

unable to orgasm
My husband and i have been married for three years and I have yet to have an orgasm while having sex. I know that many women cannot reach orgasm simply through sex, but I was hoping to at least get there every once in a blue moon.

Count yourself lucky that he can make you reach orgasm through oral and manual stimulation.
My advice, which is not very helpful sorry, is to keep perservering... you mentioned that g-spot stimulation gives you the urge to urinate, and i assume that you ask him to stop at that point? Personally, id go through with it,(popping to the toilet prior to your session
) as long as your husband is okay with the possible consequences. Just relax and see what happens.. its quite possible that you will orgasm as a result.
Good luck.Comment

And from what I understand, a gusher orgasm! Let it ride and see if you actually do or if you reach the best feminine orgasm of all.

I have been waiting for orgasm for more than 5 years and tried different positions too, but had my first big "O" only after treatment by Sentia pills and using creams. It's not like I use it regularly, I just had a course of these pills and tried creams a few times. So try it. May be it would be helpful.Comment

Try being on top thats how I reach orgasm the best during sex. But honestly, I wouldn't worry about not being able to have an orgasm during sex. Most women cant by penetration alone. You could try manually stimulating yourself while he is inside you, Me and my fiance do that a lot, either in the doggie-style position or with him on his knees in front holding my legs up. You can also try putting some pillows under your hips while he is in missionary.Comment

I wrote this in another post on similar topic:
"I've read that a recent study in Europe found that a high percentage of women (it was up around or over 50%) have never had orgasms, so there is nothing wrong with you if you haven't -- you just haven't found the right way for yourself. Also, of those who do, a smaller percentage (30% or something) have one with intercourse. The study found that some women are physically wired where they can be stimulated by intercourse, and others aren't -- although it's the same area that is stimulated -- the clitoris -- most women need direct stimulation.
Personally, I've never had an orgasm with just intercourse -- it's always manual by hand or orally. I don't worry about it and accept it and just enjoy having them! Make it a part of foreplay, and it can be fun. It's sex afterall -- who said there are any rules you have to follow? Make up your own."

Basically, you ARE able to have an orgasm during sex, just not through intercourse alone. The closest I've gotten during intercourse was while my husband was stimulating me, but he had to pull out so I could tense up and release. We'll keep trying, but we don't make it our focus. Like I said -- I just enjoy having them!
I think men and women worry too much about the need for the woman to have an orgasm during intercourse. Sex isn't just the act of intercourse -- there are so many other fun and sexy things to do with your partner! I've found that loosening up, trying new things and being less or uninhibited makes things so much better.Comment
