erectile dysfunction???
im wondering if my fiance has it, he never use to have a probably getting an erection, until about 2 years ago, i have to always blow him for like 10 or 15 minutes before he is ready for sex, and sometimes it will go right back down if it takes too long between head and intercourse. were both confused, can that happen out of no where. hes really frusterated with it, and i can understand because each time we attempt sex, it fails. he gets a rock hard morning wood no problem, but if i talk dirty to him or touch him or kiss him or he touches, licks and kisses me...he cant get hard on his own. i thought it was all in his head, maybe he was distracted, but he says hes not, he thinks dirty sexy thoughts and still cant get up. -
Guys of a certain age can get an erection at the slightest thought of sex... as they age some begin to require physical stimulation in order to achieve the same erection they use to get with just thoughts or visuals.
If he's getting morning erections it sounds like his testosterone is probably fine and if he's in good shape its like not medically based ED -- but he should still get a physical.
Could be more of an anxiety, and the thing with that stuff is it may happen once because of a distraction, or whatever... and then the fear of it happening again can make it happen again.
Its crucial to just not make a big deal of it because the more he worries about it... the more of a problem it will become.
Also frequency can become an issue... as in if he has already gotten it up and came once that day... the second erection can be harder to achieve.
Like if you guys have sex in the morning, then try again in the afternoon -- it might take more work to get that second erection going than the first one.
If he's masturbating frequently or the same day as your sex session, maybe if he slowed down on that for a bit it would start to make it less difficult for you to get a rise out of him with out sooo much effort.Scars remind us of where we've been...they don't have to dictate where we're going. -
The classic definition of ED is "the inability to achieve or sustain an erection through completion of sex". So yes, your bf is suffering from ED. Men have erections during sleep without having sexy dreams or physical stimulation. It's the body's way of exercising the little feller and keeping the tissue healthy. Morning wood neither indicates that things are OK nor that they are not.
Many things can cause ED among them, low testosterone, stress, some blood pressure (and other) meds, depression, or obesity. I see from your profile that you are early 20's. Assuming that you bf is close to you in age, he should be able to rock your world a couple of times a day easily. Before you two start experimenting with ED medications, he should get a check-up. This is not nearly as embarassing as it seems. It simplly involves routine blood work and health checks such as circulatory & blood pressure. Most doctors use a questionaire so there are no embarassing questions and plenty of time to think about an answer. Most of the big three (Viagra, Cialis, and Levitra) have sample questionaires on their web pages. Its very important that he see a doctor. A man's penis is kind of a barometer for other, more serious health problems. Most of these and ED are treatable, so don't despair.Comment
