^I agree with hopeless. Even as an adult, I would freeze in such situations.

For me, it took a LOT of practice to be assertive. I would tell myself, "I will be vocal next time", but I would still fail in the moment. The shock is just a natural reaction that my body got used to.

Even when you say no, sometimes these type of guys can sense the nervousness or fear in your voice and will take advantage of it. Your body language and how you say it can definitely make a difference.

Again, it's NOT your fault.
