I think you'll find the amount will differ from people to people and gender to gender as well. For example, it is difficult for boys/men to masturbate more than two or three times a day without getting a nagging ache in the testes and ejaculating dry. The balls need to have time to replenish fluid. For girls, there is not this issue so I'm sure they could masturbate a dozen times a day. I assume you don't have a b/f to do this for you? If that's the case do it as many times a day as you want. It's not unhealthy. Teenie, don't think it's dirty and don't feel guilty about doing it at all. Often girls are reluctant to touch themselves and they shouldn't be.
It's a way of finding out about your own body and will make sex much better later with your partners. Occasionaly do it in front of a mirror so that you can see where it is most enjoyable. Then later you can direct your partners hand/tongue/penis to this area so that he can give you the same pleasure.Comment

Every couple of days, sometimes twice a day. If I try too much in one day I stop lubricating; I don't know if that's a psychological problem or a physical one but I usually don't have the urge to go more than 3 times a day anyway, and that's if I haven't had sex.
My favorite part of masturbation is exploring things that my husband doesn't often do to me or finding new pleasures that he hasn't discovered yet (and which I can then share with him). It's my favorite kind of "me" time.Comment
