i've gone on many dates and we usually end up hooking up, but i feel like a sometimes..

i just want another relationship that was like the previous one i was in

I went through a hard breakup about 9 months ago. We dated for 4 years. The one thing that helped me get over him was by finding myself again. You don't NEED anyone and I would take this as an opportunity to meet new people, go out, have fun!
Second of all- you can't compare every guy to your ex. It's not fair and you'll never find a carbon copy of him. So you need to move on. There are great guys out there, but you can't date everything that knocks on your door hoping he'll be just like your ex. Take your time to find someone, someone who intruiges you and catches your eye, not necessarily on the sexual aspect either, but in life in general. If a guy truly is that great of a guy, he wont be too quick to hop in the sack with you. Don't worry! He is out there! But i will GUARENTEE you this... it will happen when you LEAST expect it.

It's hard when you've had that connection with someone, but I can tell you that you will *not* find the same level of connection by just allowing yourself to hook up with random people. That isn't going to make you feel better about the situation. Take your time, continue to date, but keep things a little slower for now. It seems like you are looking for something within the sex and if it's not there otherwise, the sex isn't going to make it be there

And TRUST ME...we have ALL thought at one time that all the single guys are taken or gay. I had a great gay friend for a while that I would have LOVED to have dated minus the whole attraction thing

It all seems like words now, but I speak from experience. Give it time. I'm 29 and I just now feel like maybe I've found what I was looking for. But I'm glad I didn't settle for something else too soon
