I'm sure the way that Korean women are treated, outside of sex included, is one of the reasons why so many marry Western men.

What is also possible is for a woman to have a Thai husband who she sends money to and sees every once in a while, yet be married to a foreign national and living in another country.

Ask her about "feeding the ducks" in relation to a woman who feels her man is disrespecting her by running around with other women.
My friend sure cracked up when I asked her about feeding the ducks.... For those who do not know it involves scissors and a male body part...

I got hit with a classic recently, speaking of the love/sex - sex/love thing. It seems all women are the same. They have a vagina, breasts, a mouth and well, no difference from one to another. Somehow I can't make the same sweeping generalisation about men - a penis, 2 balls and .... I feel profoundly sorry for the man who thinks this way. Unfortuately in retrospect I've met quite a few of them.

I don't know if this applies to all Asian countries, but a few months back I read an article about the relationship attitudes of Japanese men. It mentioned among other things that many Japanese husbands do not feel the need to kiss their wives or to make any romantic gestures whatsoever, because they feel that the fact that they work all day in part to support their wife - even if the woman herself works - should be sign enough of their commitment and devotion to their wife.

Ah Ha! So the world is full of secretly Japanese men??
My goodness, how did they get so widespread?! I mean it's a small country, there can't be THAT many of them. Must be something in the water...

              LOL

I'd say it's a certain type of ownership mentality. "I earn enough money to also support you financially, and I can therefore do with you what I want." Though sometimes that attitude exists even if the woman is financially independent, so...

Probably more likely to be a knife as knives are plentiful and Thai women (and men) are experts with them. Ducks will eat most anything and swallow it whole. The idea is to spoil it so reattachment isn't possible. Thai surgeons are experts at reattachment.

Sex and love are two seperate entities and have been since the dawning of mankind. Sex is the means of reprduction, love is the nuturing protection and bonding of what has been reproduced. As we evolved so has the idea of love and sex. Somewhere along the line in the building of what we call monogamy sex became a part of love, and for some to have a monogamous realationship then you must have sex with only one person. I know a few couples who have sex with others (3some, 4some) and live a happy, normal jealous free mono relationship. It is because they have successfuly seperated love from sex. By the way, humans are the species that have sex for fun. Think about it
