    Think of it like this

    1. Disease { although it may not seem at first to be a big deal, do consider it }

    2. Pregnancy { is life altering .... think a of "mini" you }

    3. Sex outside of marriage is a dilemma { religiously that is .. issues of morality, contraception and abortion may arise if your not ready for the responsibility }

    4. I for one am in the same "boat"

      Spend lots and lots of time in play. Kissing, touching, using your hands and tongues and whatever else. Learn to arouse and bring each other to orgasm without intercourse before you get into that. It will be an invaluable education for both of you.

        Cute post. Sounds like you all are having a great time, going about things the right way, communicating, are on the same page with where this relationship is at this point......and I don't see a thing wrong with it. Take the advice you've read here, as I read through the posts from others and they've given you some awesome advice.

        This is not to say abandon your religion, your beliefs or your spirituality. But by all means, do not beat yourself up for being human. God created humans....to be human....and He knows you're not perfect. Some denominations/religions make a valiant effort to be each other up and judge. If you walk out of church on a Sunday morning not feeling like scum on the bottom of Gods shoe, some preachers don't feel they've done their job. But that's not Gods teachings....that's MAN's teachings. Hold on to your spirituality....pray...love... and never be ashamed of who you are and the feelings and human emotions that God gave you.

To me back then it was like Orgasms during sex? pshhhaw... thats what masturbation is for!! I'd have sex to bond with the guy I was dating and masturbate to meet my own needs... bleep that. LOL. I now have sex for my pleasure as well as my boyfriends and its a win win.

          Advice for newbies on sex:

          Protect yourself, don't trust your man to do it for you. Bring your own condoms, don't think it will make you look bad, it only shows you respect yourself enough to not have sex without being safe.

          Don't believe a guy will pull out in time, especially if its a guy that isn't really sexually experienced or displays any selfish tendencies.

          Get yearly check ups. And if you've just recently started sex , get a check up asap. Its important to make sure you are keeping healthy downstairs.

          Don't put your physical needs above your emotional ones. In other words just because you are horny doesn't mean you must have sex. You can always take care of yourself, don't ever feel like you need to risk your health or future for an orgasm -- its not worth it. And don't sleep with anyone thinking it will make you guys closer... it won't... you are either close or you're not, sex won't make a man love you more than he already does.

          Respect yourself, respect your partner and demand that they have respect for you. Know your limits , don't do anything you aren't comfortable with and don't get guilted into doing anything you don't want to do. You owe no one NOTHING. Blueballs = lame excuse to get in your pants, don't fall for that... he wont die if he gets a hard on that goes unresolved.

          Do protect yourself from disease and pregnancy, do protect your heart by making sure you only give your body to a man that has earned the right to share something so special with you. Do explore your own body and your own wants and needs and express those to your partner. If they don't want to please you, they don't deserve you pleasing them.

          Great advice!

            I can do the easy one: you're not going to burn in some pot of eternal fire for having a good time!
            Now, I defer to Wildchild, CW, and the rest for the truly useful information.

            But it doesn't sound to me as if you've done anything radical: your gentleman is someone you've known for years, so you two should be comfortable communicating your feelings, needs, and desires to each other. And that, my dear - communication - is the least-known secret to very very good lovemaking.
            Or "doing the nasty" - whichever you prefer to call it!

            Regards,
            TR

              Thankyou all for your wonderful advice and different viewpoints. My partner and I are both 18, for that one nice person who asked. I've gotten a lot more information that I do really think will help me feel a lot less guilty. Thanks to all, and I'll be stopping by whenever I need help, or just want to chat

                  At 18 you have reached the age of majority and have many more options on what to do and say. Take your time. There is a lot of life to live and you don't have to try everything out immediately. Save some of the things for later.

                    NO you will not burn in any fire for having sex. It is perfectly natural and right as long as you are comfortable and consenting. its good that you are educating yourself. Ignorance can be quite unsafe, especially in this area. sounds like you are on the right track kudos. and I think you have come to the right place. I have learned a lot here in a short time.

                      <3 You're perfectly normal and welcome to the forum! I'm glad that you've developed such a healthy outlook on sexuality even with your family's avoidance of the topic. That can be rough, believe me!

                      Hopefully you have a great time and come back to learn more - there's so much to see and do in the big wide world of pleasure!
