    Anal sex questions

Hi there, I have a long term partner of 3 years and we're engaged.

We have had anal sex twice, before i was abit anxious about having it but I have found it enjoyable and it makes me and my boyfriend feel more intimate and close to each other due to the more careful precautions we need to take so that its comfortable. But since ive had it ive noticed that a little bit of tissue (about half a cm/ 5mm) of the anal canal sticks out and it never used to. So im anxious about getting prolapsed anus. I would like to have anal sex more often but im not sure how often would be too often to have it.

Then my other question is that my partner prefers to do it without a condom... i was anxious about the risks of catching diseases with that? Would it be fine if he just washed himself with soap and warm water afterwards? I do know about not inserting anything into the vagina onces its been in the anus. But none of us have any diseases that could risk each other catching diseases that are in the likes of HIV for example. I could see if i had HIV and by accident the penetration lead my anus to tear a little and my blood going on his penis, would risk him of catching the disease. But otherwise Im not so sure. As in many pornos they all have unprotected anal sex.

Would be great if i could get advice on this!
    Thank You. x

Well, it is definitely good that you don't let him penetrate you in the vagina after he's been in your anus. That can cause a lot of infections, including BV, yeast, and UTI. I think it would be a good idea for him to continue to wear a condom though. It is easy for him to get infections just as it is for you. There is a lot of bacteria in the anus.

You might check out emedicinehealth.com or any other medical site and read up on the condition your talking about. It seems to be uncommon in younger individuals but their are some causes that you may have encountered, excessive pushing on a bowel movement, etc. Anal sex does not seem to be an indication of that type of problem. I am no doctor, thats why I suggest you researching it.

As for a condom. My wife does not like it when I wear one. She feels the lubrication without one is more comfortable for her and she really enjoys it more. We have been doing it this way for many years and have never had an infection or problem. I DO NOT attempt vaginal intercourse after anal until I clean up for the reasons stated above. Sounds like you have a very good understanding of this. I have used soap and warm water (or we'll take a shower together) since we have been involved with anal sex and it done us very well. Some ladies have used an enema before anal sex because they or their partners prefer that. My wife and I occasionally have done that. If you are both sure you have no std then enjoy it. Communicate with each other on positions, speed, if your ready for insertion and whether you want him to cum in you or not.
