Well I havent aged much since I am only in my early 20s . . . but I did find that as I moved into a committed relationship (first steady dating and then engagement) that I got more comnfortable with my sexuality--both with the idea of being sexually intimate and more responsive when having sex. At first (mid-teens) I was really uptight about it. A solid relationship and the experience that has come wit it has helped a lot.

CW, I don't often disagree with you, but here I do!
I don't think that's at all true: I think womens' bodies are NOT always "best" in their 20s, unless you subscribe to the idea that beauty = immature or child-like!
I disagree with you, and I'd be willing to bet I'm not the only man that feels that way. I can't say when an "ideal" age might be, but it's surely over 30, possibly over 40, and I could be convinced it might be over 50!
I'm still investigating, and when I find out for sure, I'll let you know!

      Best regards,
      - TR

At the ripe old age of 56 my sex life is without a doubt 1000% better than it was 10, 20 and 30 years ago, and still changing and improving.

I was inexperienced when I married (so was he) but the lack of improvement in that was more from me realising early on that I didn't really love him and therefore my desire to a) have sex and b) change anything about it was non-existent. Once I finally left the marriage and now have a very sexually adventurous 60yo partner and we love exploring our sexuality and the sky is the limit.

I'm one of the lucky ones for whom menopause was a non-event and my libido has survived and thrived and I would never want to go back to the sexual 'me' of 20 years ago. For me, for us, it's definitely still improving.

BINGO! on both notes above... Funny because when I was younger, I could not imagine being more interested in a more mature woman. Now that I'm where I am today? OMG, I wouldn't have it any other way.... SOOOOOooo much better to me than any younger woman I'd ever been involved with.

Age definitely brings maturity in relationship but awareness and education brings more pleasure in sex.
