Concerned
Hi there. I am new to this site so bare with me. I am engaged to a wonderful wonderful man. He has herpes (yes I've been tested and we use protection). but also has erectial dysfuntion. He has been to the doctor regarding this. Our sex life sucks and now I'm starting to get low sexual esteem. Insurance isn't covering viagra or any pills and he is not ready to try a pump. we are both trying very hard to overcome this but does anyone ever really get their sex life back after having e.d.? -

YES ! A fabulous sex life can return after dealing with ED. For me and our sex life it took what seemed like forever! I was weened off of my meds., then got stressed out from work and being off of meds, worked through that, then had challenges with "sensation" issues or friction while engaging in intercourse....she gets very wet and it's hard to get good contact/friction where I need it in order to ejaculate.
Was told "no more self pleasuring"...as it's nearly impossible for the woman to recreate that amount of friction. then was told to "self pleasure" lightly in order to try and recreate the friction that I feel while engaging in intercourse. Then told to add my partner to self pleasuring and actually have her do the stroking...ever so lightly.
For me/us it took a lot of work, a lot of time, a lot of patience (particularly on her part) and a lot of love (thankfully, we have plenty of that).
So to answer your question...yes, it's possible. My question to you is, are you willing to do what it takes?Comment
