Sick of condom user - is there a solution?

He uses condoms whenever he makes love fearing that the act impregnates me. Yes I do not like to stay conceived for a couple of years at least. Ye the act of sex with condoms on is disgusting and I like skin to skin acts not condom to skin acts.

I am sick of him with condoms on his thing. I am on the lookout when it comes to making love. He at times takes steps to ejaculate outside yet he says it is difficult to interrupt and withdraw amidst the intensity of it.

Can I expect any advices from you sisters' experiences?

I personally really dislikes condoms as well but if you are not on the pill or any other type of birth control it is best to use a condom unless you plan on conceiving.

But it reduces the joy of sex and I do not climax with this on. Are pills safe? I have heard it has side effects of some kind

        You have two choices:

        1. Run the risk of getting pregnant and/or getting a STD from him by not using a condom, or

        2. Abstain from sex until you have been on birth control long enough to prevent pregnancy...and continue to use a condom to protect yourself from STDs.

If you both get yourselves tested and you start birth control, you can then be safe enough to lose the condoms. I hate them too! The side effects of birth control are generaly very mild. It's worth it.

Yes, the pill can have side effects, including for some women, drastically reducing your sex drive. There are other options such as a non hormonal IUD. Some women are better candidates for these than others. You would need to be examined and talk with a knowledgeable health care provider to find what will suit you best. However you need to always remember that conception control, except condoms, will not protect you or your partner from disease.

You should only have unprotected sex (that's of any kind including oral) with a committed monogamous partner. If there is ANY chance of your getting drunk and ending up with another man again, you need to use condoms without fail.

And like in the case of any medication, side effects are rare. I have yet to date a woman who has had negative side effects from the pill.

There are tons of options besides condoms. The only problem is none of them really protect from STDs so should only be used with someone you trust after both having been tested for STDs. If you meet those requirements make an appointment with your doctor or a planned parenthood clinic and they can list options for you. There are several other barrier methods like cervical caps which you would have to be fitted for. Various ways to use spermicide (I wouldn't trust it by itself but have used VCF(vaginal contraceptive film) that relies on spermicide along with other methods. Then all the hormonal versions which is a few dozen pills, several IUDs, the patch, nuva rings...... the list goes on. Again these will not protect from diseases so should only be used when your risk of contracting something is extremely low. For other situations there are also female condoms that give a different feel which you might like better but I'm not sure I'd rely on them as the sole method of birth control until having had some practice with them. They are a bit more complicated than the male version to use without accidents.

You really NEED to use a condom unless you are in a committed and completely monogamous relationship.

Otherwise, if you don't want to take the pill there is always the option of combining other methods which make them nearly as fool proof as the condom or the pill.

Combining the diaphragm with spermicide is better than using either or, and adding pulling out on top of that you're almost guaranteed to never get pregnant.
