Monday I ask for and got an afternoon appointment with my OBGYN. I told my hubby I was going and he freaked and wanted to go with me, I declined. My OBGYN is very direct and she doesn't beat around the bush, either I wasn't using lub or my hubby was so big that he was doing this to me. I said my doctor was direct and her next request floored me, she wanted me to come into her office and ask if there was any way that I could call my husband and would he be able to talk in private and not get in trouble at his job. I said I think so and I made the call, got him on the phone, told him I was ok but my doctor wanted to talk to him.

I was only hearing one side of the conversation but could read into what he said by her questions. She said your wife is using lub right? Woudl you consider yourself normal size? Big pause.......do you suppose that you might be causeing some of your wife's discomfort? Big pause again......OK thank you, nice talking to you, then hung up. My doctor said your husband needs to use lub as well as I do and that still might not suffice as he's well above average size when aroused.

Now my question is why wouldn't he talk to me about this problem but he talked to my doctor and he's never met my doctor. Am I wrong to think we should be able to talk about this, we've been married nearly 4 months.
