my girlfriend had ovarian cysts on both ovaries and had 95% of them removed this was six years ago since then she has lost all libido i have tried everything you can think of she has spent the last 3 years going to a 'specialist' gynaecologist which has done nothing to help (first told her it was in her head, then it was hormone therapy (light 1% cream) now hes doing a herbal method. by the way she can only see him every 6 months i reckon hes a crock of sh*t who takes large sums of money (not that money is an issue here i would pay 10 times more for a real answer)but she only trusts him) i am now 25 she is 35 (been with her since 19 Smile ) i love her and i dont want to cheat on her ever ( even though she has told me i can sleep with others about 2 years ago but i cant do it) but im still young and have real needs i want to help her get back her libido does anyone, anyone have anything i can try. i swear ill try voodoo anything but leave her over this. i probably sound like a whinger but i am a strong willed/moraled/headed man who has never reached out for help on this matter but its been 6 years since ive had sex with the love of my life and ive reached breaking point pls help

on a side not her libido pre op was huge even to the point that she complained to a friend that she wasnt getting enough even though we where at it at least twice a day. it just stopped dead post op

Seems to me that her dr. isn't doing her any favors.

I don't think it's uncommon for hormone levels to be effected by this type of surgery. Some of the ladies here will be able to talk more about that than I can.

i dont know where my brain is at but the surgery was 4 years ago been with her for 6. we had two great years of sex before the op sorry i wrote the first post in a bit of a hurry to tell you the truth its good to just finally get it out in the open ive bottled this up for so long
