People are reacting to you as they are because many underinformed women come here asking questions about sexual biology or physical or emotional issues they are facing, and, while, apparently these issues are all intimately tied up in religion for you, for a lot of girls, they are not. And for you to tell a woman that she will burn in hell for having anal sex and not consider yourself as having instigated the harassment makes me feel you are either incredibly ignorant, incredibly arrogant or both.

You are more than welcome to have your opinions, but when you come to a religion neutral forum and try and push your opinions regarding God's law as fact, as opposed to being open to the possibility that many of these girls have either chosen not to acknowledge God's role in their lives, or are comfortable that their God will not condemn them to hell for a little *** play, you should realize that the way you've chosen to deliver your message may be ineffectual, and even inflammatory. Based on what I've read, instead of gently informing, and spreading a message of God's love, instead you choose to spread fear and conjecture labeled as truth.

The problem is you spread false or medically inaccurate information to women who are looking for answers. Your posts feel as if you are condemning women for their choices when you are in the minority of the populace. You are perfectly ok holding your views and your opinions, but if you can't at medical advice or actual experience then you really don't have anything to say. I suggest prefacing your posts with:

"Are you religious or do you believe in god? Because if you do the bible/koran/etc. says this." Just assuming that people follow god strictly, or are religious at all, makes you come off poorly.

Saying that women must do this, or this is forbidden on all accounts, automatically puts you in position for attack.

People here are looking for answers, and unless they feel the same religious dedication as you your advice isn't helpful.

hi i'm new here. i don't know if it is so much an attack on YOU personally. while there are plenty of western women who consider religion to be a big part of their lives, there are also many women who are not religious at all. i've had bad experiences with religion so i feel very wary of it- and sometimes people make me feel threatened or worthless for not being religious, so my first instinct is to be on my guard. i am not saying that this is what you are doing, but it might be construed that way.

i don't think anyone wants to attack you for being religious. but to be honest, you have posted some things on here that are misinformed as far as modern medicine is concerned. it is one thing to say that you choose not to do something because your religion doesn't approve, it is quite another to assume religious dogma is fact. it's totally cool for you to not have anal sex because you believe that you will go to hell, but other women may not share those beliefs and may see nothing wrong with it.

if you want to make a point, just try to make sure that you are wording it in a friendly, non-confrontational way, and hopefully others on here will extend you the same courtesy.

Housewife, The notion that disrespecting God and religion leads to hellfire is your opinion. Not fact. You are of course entitled to regard your religious beliefs as fact and even apply them as absolute truth in your own life. However you must respect the fact that other people harbour their own, alternative beliefs, as failing to do so will naturally lead to such arguments.

Although I have only just registered, I have read quite a few threads on this forum beforehand and have been appalled by the multitude of myths bouncing around in regards to sexual health. I believe the lady in question was bestowing shame upon you for propagating quite a few of those myths yourself and passing them off as fact when they were anything but.

This is not a religious forum, it is a forum for sex and although you have obviously entwined the two in regards to your own life, (as is certainly your right) giving false or misleading information to women who are seeking accurate, purely factual information on any given subject is doing them a great disservice. From what I have seen from your posts, your religious views are clearly at odds with biological evidence on a few of these topics now and I can't help feeling that you would be better off taking your theological beliefs to a religious environment, as opposed to a scientific one.

The concept of 'Religion' encompasses a great deal of differing faiths and doctrines, as I'm sure you are aware if you have studied the concept in any depth. I too have a faith, although it appears to be very different from yours; however the fact remains that this is the wrong arena for theological discussions. This is a scientific forum about sex and sexual health. Women are looking to deal in facts here, not abstract ideals.

Your Religion and 'health' evidently do not always agree and I can actually give you a step-by-step list of your discrepancies so far if you would like. I haven't done so yet because it is not my intention to embarrass you, but I certainly can if that is something you need to see.

In short, should anybody inquire about your religious views on something you consider to be a sin, then by all means, tell them. If they do not ask, however, you have absolutely no business imposing them on others; especially if hard, solid facts are sought in their stead. Of course you can just disregard everything I and the other ladies here have said, but should you choose to do so, don't be surprised if you are called-out on your inflammatory, inaccurate statements.

Fine. Let's set the religion issue aside for a second.

Whether you believe that anal sex is a sin or not, I feel confident saying that you are 100% incorrect in your previous statements that anal sex makes your butt bigger and causes anal leakage. That was my main problem with your posts, and I think that ties into other posters' problems with your posts as well. I'm not necessarily going to freak out about the religious judgments you've been passing here (although I'm not a fan of those, either), but the utter nonsense clothed as medical fact that has accompanied them is extremely frustrating and discouraging for me to read. It's upsetting to see someone propagating these ideas about the health effects of a sex act when those ideas are motivated solely by personal beliefs and are, in addition, thoroughly and entirely inaccurate.

Your religion is your religion, and that's fine. It's your business if you want to go around telling people that your beliefs are the only answer to life's questions, and it's other people's business if they want to agree or disagree with your statements to that effect. However, you're mixing in your religious judgments with just out-and-out ridiculousness in response to other people's valid queries on the issue. If you want to tell people that anal sex is a sin, go for it. It's not my business to tell you what to believe, and if you believe that it's your duty to warn people away from the anal sex inferno, that's on you. what was that? the bigger butt thing? haven't I made that clear, it is the "hole", after a while the muscles will loosen up and the person will have less control over stopping the poop from leaking out.

Ok, that offended me even more than any other statement , I am scientist, I have a PhD degree in Engineering and I will start working as an Assistant professor this fall, so I strongly belong the scientist group as well as the religious people groups.

Ok, we all give our opinions based on our own thinking, my opinion is mostly based on religion, but sadly other opinions that I read here and there are completely false ,immature, misleading, but I don't see anyone said any word about them. why?
