I personally feel women in today's society are used. There bodies are used for business gains. They are told that they are being granted freedom and if they cover themselves they are suppressed. Reverse psychology.

One Hollywood actress claims that when she had to strip her clothes for a movie scene she did not want to do it but she thought that refusing would be immature?!

There is no question that the girl was suffering from peer pressure (or pressure from society). I personally believe that woman today use maturity as an excuse to fit into a society which would otherwise ridicule them if they decided to behave differently.

Hence, freedom in the true sense does not exist. You are taught that parading naked and having sex is a part of freedom. But if choose to abstain you are told you are suppressed. Even if your choice to abstain is from free will you are labeled as an oppressed person. Why? Freedom means the will to do. It cannot be equated with a particular act such as drinking and/or partying.

But then brainwashing goes a long way. If you raise a child and teach him/her that something is equal to something he/she will always look at it as he/she is taught.

Similarly, women are taught to strip so that men can make money off of their bodies. Sad if you ask me.

I think women have been brainwashed
in the guise of 'liberation.'

Up until the mid sixties, women did not have sex
with every passing stranger. The idea of being
easy or a tramp or letting men use them was quite
strong, and those who had sex before marriage
fell into one category, those who waited until
marriage fell in another.

The 'sexual revolution' told women to have sex
with every passing stranger.
In short, women got screwed in the belief this
was 'positive' but men continued to believe
that those who screwed like rabbits were ****s
and those who wouldn't screw them were valuable.

Hence, those who participated in the sexual revolution
were passed around as a ***** would be, and those who
didn't got married.

As time passed, virginity was seen as some kind of
malady that needed cure. Men enjoyed screwing women
and women got screwed.

More recently, women are expected to perform all
sorts of sexual acts which their mothers and grandmothers
never heard of.

Many people don't consider what Monica did with Bill
sex, because this was what one paid a ***** for,
because one didn't ask their wives to do such a thing.

That women in the 00s do not believe they have a right
to their own bodies, that they have a right to privacy,
a right to modesty, a right to refuse any and all sexual
demands, is part of a great tragedy.

In some ways, women had more 'rights' in the 50s
in relation to sexuality than they do today.

In the 50s no man would dare pressure a woman for sex.
Even if he were married to her, he would never demand
certain acts be performed.

Today the argument is whether or not to swallow his cum
when fifty years ago the idea of putting his penis into
his wife's mouth was simply not thought of.

There is a lot women need to examine.
Unfortunately, being brainwashed, many will not.

I agree with a few points of what you both have written BUT.

The sexual revolution did give women the choice, it did not say "go out there and sleep with everyone"...It did not tell women to "have sex with every passing stranger". If women wanted to, then they could but it didn't tell them to do this. It meant that if they did want to have sex more freely they could without getting pregnant.

I was never taught that "parading naked and having sex is a part of freedom, but if choose to abstain you are told you are suppressed. "... who is taught that?!! Society doesn't say that. The important factor again is about CHOICE. A number of Hollywood have refused to do naked scenes or sex scenes, they don't want to they don't have to.

I disagree with your idea on how Virginity is perceived. I have met a lot of men who think it is a very good thing, again it is respected in terms of women being strong and making their own choices. Not being forced down either path. they don't have to wait until marriage if they don't want, but if they do that is also fine.

This comment is naive, if you look back through history hundreds, thousands of years all sorts of acts were done. The only difference is that it was not talked about so openly, things were done in the privacy of someones bedroom and that's where it stayed. You are crediting women with less power, strength and intelligence than what they have - What if a woman actually enjoys these acts, that's not unheard of you know! You make it sound that Monica did what she did to Bill because she was forced to, whereas actually she probably enjoyed it and wanted to do it. You can't say thats brainwashing, because for some women there are physical changes in the body where it is clearly effecting her sexually. what if a woman does it without being asked?! That is also possible. Also you need to talk about the majority, how many men would force a woman do do something that they don't want to, or even try...not the majority. What about sharing and compromise, what about 69...is this because a woman is forcing a man to do that.no some men enjoy it, some men want to do it.. if they don't they don't have to!

You are also incorrect about your comment about the 50s, the three generations above me, my mother, grandmother and great grandmother were all aware of the standard "If you loved me you'd do it" they taught the standard "If you loved ME, you wouldn't put pressure on me to do it" the difference years ago was women felt they should, ended up pregnant and quickly ran down the church. Getting married to someone who wasn't necessarily going to make her happy, support her, and maybe ended up spending a lot of time down the pub or was abusive etc etc but she got married because she felt it was the right thing to do. Now women can CHOOSE. Of course BJs were heard of 50 years ago, just that they weren't discussed in the same way as nowadays.

Years ago, it was considered a womens "duty" to have sex with her husband, in the same way that marriage vows used to commonly include "honor and obey"now it is considered much more of an equal thing.

Women are strong, intelligent and we can make more choices about things than what we have been able to for years. Sure there is work to do in some areas in terms of equality, but we are well over half way there. Credit women with the intelligence and strength they have and credit men with some integrity, intelligence and appreciation.

I live in the UK, and honestly I have spoken to a number of men who really respect a woman taking this choice. For a short while my friend went out with a Muslim. She doesn't believe in sex before marriage, but he believed that all western women were slags and therefore expected her to be experienced and have sex after a few dates. When she put him right, he was so shocked but thought it was wonderful. I have spoken to a number of men who think that it is a good thing and would be prepared to wait for whenever their girl friend is ready. I also know of girls who have had lots of boyfriends and slept with them and again their boyfriends love them, and accept that they have a history before them.

What I find interesting is the fact you refer to a Muslim man.
This is the effect, I think, Islam is having on the Western world.

Where non-Muslims in the Western World are accustomed to
screwing anything that moves, and where females have lots
of mileage on them before they reach twenty one, virginity

Even non-Muslims from the middle east, i.e. Christians, expect

Interesting perceptions. Two of my cousins did not have sex before marriage, neither did several of my close friends. they all live in the UK.

None of us go to church weekly. I consider myself to be Protestant but do not pray daily.

People think that in the west everyone sleeps with everyone, women are all marge legs. We are not, this is the bad perception people have, it is not accurate.

I tried to tell my friend who is Muslim, if you got a night club and hang about after it closes at 2, YES you will see men and women trying to find someone for the night, but what about all the other men and women who are at sleep in bed at home at their parents house!! You forget that this is not the whole population.

I know who I think are the better people, your choice.... The muslim man who comes to England, finds some English **** and sleeps with her, and then goes back after he has completed his training and marries a muslim virgin.

OR

The English woman who is surrounded by temptation, but dates, gets engaged and then marries.

Who avoids temptation? Who has sinned here? The English man can talk to me with a t-shirt on, or my ankles showing and not think about sex. I agree there are problems with the system. It is a problem to me that I cannot take a bible into a number of other countries. This I feel is fundamentally against my human rights, and here "the system" is wrong in my opinion. However if you cannot bare the system then you have a choice. You live there, accept it , put up with it and DO NOT criticize or you go to where you feel most comfortable with the system. The problem you refer to cannot be blamed on the "system" if you are not capable of bringing your child up with appropriate manners, morales etc etc you shouldn't have children. Not later blame issues on "the system"
