My brother was here for a few days until yesterday and we had to be quiet too. I loved having to be discreet about it by biting pillows and concentrating that energy on the sensations I'm feeling. It amped it up. We also considered the closet. Perhaps you have a big enough closet. You could use it as a time to explore other options. -
Your sister's comment is disturbing to me, but anyway...
You said she's only visiting for a little over a week right? Then it's not that big of a deal to your lifestyle. Until she leaves, stay on bottom or other positions where you can cover your face with a pillow. Also put the tv on or some music or have sex in the shower, etc...
I wish I had better answers, but I'm unfortunately used to being as quiet as possible. My bf and I have have the option of his dorm room or my house. There are ALWAYS people in rooms next door to us so we've mastered being quiet. It's totally crazy the small handful of times we've had space of our own and got to be as crazy as possible. Sigh, good times.
But good luck to you. Im sure you'll figured it out. If not, why don't you have sex during a different part of the day where she could be out of the house?

I'm guessing her sister meant that getting to listen to *someone* having sex was making her horny, not that hearing chaya and/or her husband specifically was getting her turned on. Then again, I'm an only child, so the idea of listening to a sibling having sex doesn't give me an automatic "eeww" reaction that would turn me off in such a situation.Comment

Tex I'm in the same situation (only child!), and so when people make brother/sister comments I substitute one of my parents into the scenario, as that's the closest comparison I have.
So, if my mom were to tell me that hearing sexual noises coming from my bedroom turned her on, that would be major EWWWW.

I agree with the pillow or blanket biting, or a light shoulder nip. Maybe covering your mouth with one of your hands, that way you can still let out everything you're feeling just a little tamped down. Maybe, depending on if you are directly facing her wall or not during, try turning yourselves around toward a different wall too. If the bed is even a little noisy, could do it on the floor. Music is a great idea. Actually it's even better if she has access to her own, it's easier to drown out the noises when it's closer to her, not coming from the same room as other noises.Comment

Never get into faking it. It will spoil things after a while. If you could get into loud rock music, that would be good. Something you like that has some shouted lyrics. Then time your loudest expressions to when those lyrics are the loudest.
I have always found trying to be quiet makes me more excited.I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience.

Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance by lying supinely on our backs and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot?

I think you are going about this all wrong. You are what every man seeks, a woman who gives feedback to his love making and makes him work hard to "get you there". Your sister getting horney when she hears you is also normal (I would too). Your husband has the problem. Talk to him about his 18th century attitude concerning sex. Tell him you talked to your sister (thats what sisters do) and she is happy that you two are so much in love. It doesn't bother her at all.Comment

It's not much of a problem any more. I turn on a TV to help cover the noise. I also found out that if we have sex after I do my meditation, I am so relaxed that I don't make any noise at all.
Since sis did her overnight with hubby's partner, hubby is not as sensitive about her hearing us. Once he even said it didn't matter if she hears us.sigpic
Not thinking about anything is Zen. Once you know this, walking, sitting, or lying down, everything you do is Zen.
