    Is it true...

Hello Ladies and the few brave gentelmen I have noticed on this site. This is my first post. I am 35 and have noticed for aproximately the past 6 months I have been for lack of a better phrase...'been sitting on simmer just before a low roiling boil' as pertains my sex drive. I read of heard somewhere women go thru a period like this (similar to late teenage boys). Has anybody else been thru this and or heard of this? And if so...how do you get around it....don't get me wrong....I love sex and usually enjoy these feelings, but, hubby is 15 yrs my senior and not quite in the same boat as me. He can get a hard on but he just isn't as interested in it as I am...add that to having a 5 year old and there isn't that much opportunity anyways. All this leads to some extreme frustration. And while I enjoy my toys...there is only so much the toys can do...
Next question...how long is this supposed to last..aproximately....i know every body is different. Just looking for some advice and if nothing else then some women or men to commiserate with and make me laugh.

I remember learning in sex ed. a long time ago that men hit their sexual peak at around 20, and women hit theirs at around 30 or so, which sucks. I don't have any advice except to hang in there!

hello i wont be much help either but I've read somewhere that women hit their sexual prime mid thirties early forty's I'm 27 turn 28 in august and Ive always been a very sexual person and my husband says at the rate were going he will be dead from to much sex by the time i hit 35. the only thing I can think of is to try to think of something you husband fantasizes about or just try acting a little freaky something that works great for me is (stop reading if you get grosses out easily) when my husbands asleep ill get naked and start to suck on his toes my husband will get hard before he even wakes up and then when he starts to wake up yank down his boxers get his wood nice and wet and hop right on this way he has no time to turn you down. first time i did this i stared at his feet for about 20 minutes before i worked up enough nerve to suck his toes (i kept thinking gross what did my Friend talk me into) when i finally got to it and watched him get hard through his boxers i almost couldn't finish doing it because i kept wanting to laugh he wasn't even awake and he was moaning needless to say we had great sex then he told i was sick (it was great)

          OMG!!!! Rachelray!

That made me laugh!!!! I don't think it's gross. When Hubby and I were dating...I was a DJ at the club and he came to watch me work and on breaks I would dance with him. By 0300 my feet were killing me! And I was sitting on top of a picnic table changing shoes for the walk home....before I could put my socks and tennies on he started massaging my feet and i started moaning and closed my eyes....the next thing I feel is a warm wet mouth on my toes.......omg, it was great! We hadn't even kissed yet! It was still fairly earlier in our relationship. I thought a man who will suck my toes before kissing me! Holy Cow! Well, we kissed for the first time that night after he escorted me home. And the kiss knocked my socks off. So, I might have to take you up on your suggestion....It has definite potential and I like the Irony. Giggling, this should be fun! Thanks so much.

no problem,I'm glad it made you laugh Ive got plenty more where that came from so let me know how it goes. Having fun with your partner during sex make you feel younger and I'm always trying to be inventive after twelve years together you have to be. I say enjoy your little peak while you can lord knows theirs times you wont feel like having sex at all, so i say make up for those times now.

Since you commented on the "few brave gentlemen" I almost feel obligated to reply

Count yourself lucky to be a women and not having to worry about your sexual arousal being visible. I guess us boys just count ourselves lucky that we go our sexual peak while still in school so we have books to carry around in front of us.

Not sure if I can give you a whole lot of help ... but, going on the sucking the toe idea (not sure what to say about that) men almost always wake up in the morning hard, or get hard quickly while laying in that semi-awake stage after being woken up. But is gone quickly after actually getting up, so gotta catch it quickly. Supposedly nothing to do with sexual arousal but related to sleep cycles. Definitely a good time to catch your hubby ready for a quicky in the morning. While he may not be "excited" when you first hop on him he probably won't complain much either.

Thank you and keep the laughs coming!

Thank you again Racelray and I might take you up on the more ideas. Thanks also to Kermit. I don't know I always envied a guy being able to always have an orgasm. But I console myself with the belief...however false it might be...that my orgasms are so much more intense for their rarity. Don't tell me if I'm wrong....I couldn't stand it!

I certainly won't burst your bubble.

While men orgasm every time, they're usually pretty unexciting. There are ways for men to have more intense ones but most don't know how or (not surprisingly) don't have the patience.

So you can certainly keep gloating in your quality of orgasm over quantity without argument from me.
