    bumps near labia

I noticed i have some bumps near my opening I haven't had much sex, I do shave but they aren't painful and very tiny and when i hold them they bleed. Could it be razor bumps, pimples, cysts, gland, hair follice or something even more serious?

    Hi AnastasiaRose,

You might ask your physician to take a look at them. They might be molluscum contagiosum: edit link - links are not allowed If they are, from what I was told your physician should be able to freeze them. I'm not sure if it's painful, but that is an extremely sensitive area.

A woman I know who had it a long time ago told me she picked them off and applied rubbing alcohol. I would advise against that idea. I would go the physician route.

I believe but am not sure that it's transmitted during sex with an infected person. So you might want to abstain from sex until you have it figured out.

    Good luck,

    Taos

hey I went in today and she said it could be irritation to sex as I have barely had any sex in my life. Or it could be warts like HPV but she said i should be fine - as its in the early stages the body will fight it off and i can get treatment to get it out of my system before it becomes serious. She said it will take 4 to 6 weeks for results but is there any treatment or anything I should do in the mean time? she didn't give me any...any advice! and I was cleared since my last person and so was my partner too.
