Please help me! how to tighten vag and make less slippery.
I'm only 21 and no kids yet my boyfriend keeps complaining that he doesn't feel anything when we do it. I think I may be to wet so he doesn't feel it at all. I've read stuff online... I do kegels but I'm not sure if I am doing them right. So I don't know what the problem is. I'm planing on trying tightening cream called Intivar cause it seems to have good results but not sure if it will help cause it says it helps women that are dry too as well as tightening. So I don't know if it will help. I've read about using a certain kind of soap that drys it up but I don't think that will help much either. How can I tighten myself down there? How do I know if I'm doing my kegels correctly? Do I need to see a doctor? Is there something wrong with me? PLEASE HELP ME! Any advice will be greatly appreciated. -
Take a deep relaxing breath Lynn90. I can say with "reasonable certainty" that there is nothing wrong with you. Check with your Ob/Gyn if you feel the need for reassurance by a professional. Kegals are not real tricky. If you have "googled" them and followed the desription.. then you are certainly doing them, "right". They like any other muscular development it takes time. If you have any doubts, place your finger in your vagina and see if the exercise is causing muscular contractions. Don't expect a "death grip" immediately. There is NO SUCH THING as too wet. Natural lubrication is a GOOD thing. For more immediate improvement, consider different positions. How your body is positions can increase the "openness" of your vaginal canal. Missionary with your legs on his shoulders. Or missionary with either your behind raised on a pillow or two or him standing or kneeling beside the bed with your legs able to "hang off". If you try this; start with "entry with your legs raised then lower them after he is "in". Please, Please..avoid using "chemical" treatments on the delicate flesh of your vagina.....bad idea! Be ready to experiment with the positions...everything is going to "work out fine. -
I agree with SaharaJim, don't go using any chemicals in your vagina. If you have been in a previous relationship and this has not been a problem, - then there is certainly nothing untoward with your vaginal opening. Also, your vagina requires natural lubricants so that you don't rip, tear or feel uncomfortable during and after sex. It is also required to help keep out bacteria etc and to flush out any bacteria (and we all have it) from the vagina.
Does your boyfriend feel this way all the time? Perhaps his penis is not as sensitive as he would assume it should be. Perhaps he needs to adjust the manner in which he is using it providing a different angle or motion to get the penis in the fullest contact.
Lets face it, the vagina is probably no wider than a finger width in it's relaxed state. It can stretch to accommodate a penis and a baby, it is not normally a wide gaping hole.
If you question whether or not there is a problem, please get to a gyno as there are conditions that can be surgically rectified. As I mentioned it would be rare to have these conditions but they sometimes do happen. That which we forget may as well never really happened.Comment

Please, please, please do not use anything on your vagina to alter it unless it is medically necessary and prescribed by a healthcare provider. There are a lot of stuff out there that promise to do things, but don't believe everything. If anything, it can cause more damage. You definitely do not want to dry yourself out. Like previous posters, try different positions. Maybe ones where you aren't so open. Like starting in missionary position, but once he is in, close your legs completely to give him better friction.
Kegals are a great exercise for everybody body. One way to know you are doing it effectively is to also contract you stomach muscles at the same time and tilt your pelvis forward. Also try them while urinating. When you do a kegal, you should be able to stop you urin flow. You can also try to buy some Ben Wa balls. They cost about $15 and are great for exercising your muscles.
Natural wetness is a good think. One day, 20 years down the road, you will be so glad you have that extra wetness.
Also, are you guys using a condom. Sometimes that can take away the sensation for a man. Try the extra thin ones. Also put lube on the inside of the condom. Alternatively, try using the female condom.Freedom is just another word for nothing left to lose - Kris Kristofferson and Fred Foster (sung by Janis Joplin)Comment

Just be careful with talcum powder. There are some studies linking it to cancer when applied to the genitle area. Nothing conclusive but enough to have the American Cancer Association put a statement abou ***.Freedom is just another word for nothing left to lose - Kris Kristofferson and Fred Foster (sung by Janis Joplin)Comment

Generally, they do not have your best interest in mind, only their best interest and it usually involves them trying to make money.
The vagina is a muscle that expands and contracts like so many other muscles in your body.
There is no chemical, cream, lotion, powder, talc or tea leaf that's scientifically proven to make any difference to it.
Kegels are about the best way to strengthen the muscles that make up your pelvic floor. They give you the control you desire and the sensation your partner seeks. In addition, by incorporating them into your young life now and making them become part of your regular healthy lifestye and exercise routine, the chances of you having incontinence problems later in life is greatly reduced.
My SO pushed four ten pound, or nearly ten pound, babies through her vagina and she can still grab hold of me when ever she desires to do so. All thanks to a regular routine of kegels (according to her anyway).
So learn to do them and learn to do them correctly all of your life. Your pelvic floor will thank you!!Comment

I've been women who have wide vaginas. The right position helps, a good one is doggie with his legs straddled over yous, makes everything tighter. Missionary with the legs raised can shorten the vagina and make it feel tighter . Women on top can give you a lot more satisfaction. You and he might consider finding the right positions a little adventure.Comment
