Pain During Sex
Every time my boyfriend and I have sex it's painful for me. We do other things that don't involve his penis and it feels fine, but whenever we try actual sex it hurts. I don't know why this happens but I believe he may be hitting my cervix. Is there anyways to help this? Sorry if this has already been discussed earlier. -
If you are not aroused and lubricated enough it will cause friction and can hurt when he is inside of you. If you continue with the friction it can cause tiny tears in the vagina and can lead to more pain. But yes he can be hitting your cervix if he is going too far in or pushing too rapidly, simply tell him to slow down or not push as hard. There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy. -
Can you describe the pain? Most descriptions I have read about hitting the cervix is that it causes a sharp or very sharp pain. You can try different positions to get away from hitting the cervix. Maybe woman on top would be good as you would be in control. Another thing to try is to have one or several orgasms during foreplay. With orgasm, the uterus can move somewhat out of the way.I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience.

Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance by lying supinely on our backs and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot?
From a speech by Patrick Henry on March 23, 1775 at St. John's Church, Richmond, VirginiaComment

We always make sure I'm aroused before actually doing anything so I don't think that's the problem. Thanks though, I'll ask him to slow down next time.If you are not aroused and lubricated enough it will cause friction and can hurt when he is inside of you. It's more like a dull pain, mostly just discomfort(although it can get pretty painful every once and a while). I'll suggest me being on top next time and see how that works.
