first time sex... couple of questions- help?
Hey, Okay, so I had never had sex until last night. My boy friends says he's had sex a lot and knew what he was doing. But the issue is, my "cherry" didn't pop. There was a lot of pain, but no pleasure because the cherry didn't pop.

There is no actual "cherry"...I think that's just slang for breaking the hymen or losing your virginity. I heard that term a lot through my jr high and high school years, but did not ever see "it" on any diagram in sex ed class, so don't worry there.
The first time for a girl is rarely pleasurable. Many experience pain or discomfort of some kind--some do not ( I didn't), but it is normal to feel it. You did not mess up; he is not too small, etc...relax, it gets better as you go along.
Just remember to always use protection of some kind. -
The first half a dozen times it hurt for me when he inserted at the beginning and pulled out at the end. But that was due to his size and I was still extremely tight. The first time was painful, but my man was experienced enough and cared enough to 'break through' then to not move until I said it was okay to. I also didn't know there would be that much blood. Going to the bathroom afterwards had startled me a bit. I don't remember that information from Health class in High School.
But yes, it does most definitely get better. Knowing your body and teaching your partner what works for you and also you both trying new things is all a part of the experience. I like new things and I always enjoy when my man tries a new position with me. Sex is a mutual act, participation from both parties is needed as well as honest communication and trust. Opening up to each from every perspective will make it all the more better.Last edited by Element; 06-19-2012, 05:05 PM.Comment

The first time I had sex wasnt painful and I did not bleed, It may feel uncomfortable for you because you're just not in the mood and it may just be super wierd for you. Even though my first time wasnt painful it was awkward which made me tense and I didnt really like it the first few times. Over time it will get better.Comment
