As you guys already know my husband has sex with me about only once a month. He will constantly tell me that we'll do it tonight, but as the day goes on he will find some excuse to put it off. Then he will buy me some kind of small present to make up for it. Right now he wants to get me a dvd player. He has a million excuses. I try to initate it all the time, but it almost never works. I of course talk to him about it and tell him how it makes me feel. It upsets me when he doesn't want it. When I tell him this he says he is not trying to upset me. It just wasn't a good night for it because his ankle hurt, he was sick, he was tired, etc. The worst about all of this is that we're wanting to have a baby. He claims he wants one as much as I do. We have been trying to get pregnant for the last six years or more without any success. The problem most likely is him, the fact that he hardly gives me any. He can't understand this. He thinks that even though we may not have sex very often I should still be able to get pregnant. It might take a little longer than expected, but it should still work. Since nothing has happened yet he thinks its my fault, that I must have some kind of fertility problem or something else preventing it from happening. He thinks that there is no way he could be the cause and he is convinced his sperm is perfectly healthy because he is young healthy man who keeps in shape. I wonder if he still is attracted to me or something else of that nature is cause. I don't think anything I do will change it. I guess I will just have to deal with it. I guess he would rather upset me and waste what little money on presents for putting it off than stick his **** up my *****.

Is there any chance that he is nervous, uneasy about having a baby and this is making him (maybe unconsciously) avoid sex?
