Sex has been happening less.
... I will just throw out there, I had a baby 4 months ago. He'll be 5 months next month, on the 3rd. My body has changed so much, I am bigger... I've had issues with my weight before hand, but I am capable of losing it. I'm dieting excessively and working out at random when I have time.. And when my spouse comes home from work, I just want to relax and spend time with him... But, as I have noticed. Sex rarely ever happens. And I think it's because of the fact that I am 25 lbs heavier than I was before I had the baby.. He never says anything about it, has never made fun of my weight. He's supportive, but he rarely ever touches me.. It could not happen for weeks and he wouldn't say anything.. He's always home, but the problem is, when it does happen- I've become so self-conscious about myself I am making myself bitter. I am trying so hard to change the way I look because I am not happy with myself, and he doesn't really do anything to make me feel sexy... What's wrong with me? -
Try doing the initiating, he may be looking for signals from you to let him know that you are ready to be back in the saddle like before. I know after my wife and I had our first, they told us to wait 6 weeks, so I figured my wife would let me know when she was ready and never initiated for awhile.Comment

I think a lot of women are self-conscious about their body after having a baby because our stomach area has been stretch to the point of containing a small watermelon for several months, LOL. Our boobs aren't necessarily as perky as they were before. You don't mention if you are breast feeding. Was your husband in the delivery room with you?
Perhaps your husband is waiting for you to initiate. Maybe he is trying to be considerate of you and doesn't want to pressure you.
At any rate, don't be down on yourself because your body has not bounced back to pre-baby size. If you exercise and eat right, your body will respond. It just may take some time. It didn't expand overnight and it's not going to contract overnight. Don't put that kind of pressure on yourself. Talk to him and let him know how you feel. I think it sounds like post-baby blues.Comment
