    Ouch! Cervix pain!

I'm in my mid 20s, my husband and I were virgins before we got together. In my late teens I occasionally got a lot of pain in my cervix. I used to have very painful periods that were heavy and lasted about 10 days (grim!) I went on the Pill for that and it helped massively. My (now) husband and I started becoming sexually active about a year after I started the pill and about a year on from them I found myself getting pains in my cervix. Not really bad ones but just annoying ones. I started to realise that whenever I wasn't um...wet but felt aroused I'd get the pains. I do have a ridiculously small lower area. When I'm wet it just accomadates my husband's 5" long and 1" in diameter penis, maybe from having sex we've muddled me up a bit but it's weird how it works, I get the pains during my period and when I'm aroused but not sexually wet. Can anyone help please?

I would suggest going to a gynecologist and getting yourself checked out. Now that you are sexually active you should try to have pap smears performed regularly (I am not sure of the suggested frequency). If you are having issues with getting wet, just try some lubricant and see if that helps. It is a common problem for women.
    Hope this helps!

No I'm sore when my mind gets aroused but I haven't got wet yet. I can get wet fine, thats not the problem. And for goodness sake! The gynecologist isn't magical, the tests vary from 37% to 63% in accuracy! Gunecology goes very strongly against my moral beliefs and if women were able to deal with themselves fine for thousands of years, why do we now, all of a sudden all need tests?

Why is gynecology against your moral beliefs? Just curious

I don't believe in sexual organs being tested. I'm very old fashioned (middles ages old fashioned). I study herbs and natural remedies and don't think that exploiting people like that is acceptable (in my opinion), we have all the materials we need really. Of course some things I have to give exceptions for and be hypocritical, I'm on the Pill for example. I do think it's a good thing to have heavy medication and testing for things like heart disease. But women have been on this planet for thousands of years and up until a few hundred years ago, were living medically fine. Most of the tests that are now almost compulsory are not very accurate, the smear test for example was based on a Victorian man's invention. He was psychotic and liked to expose women's internal sexually linked organs. Yes that is the sad truth behind our society today.

I agree with you when you say we have all the materials we need. But most of us wouldn't know what they're for or how to use them.

Let's not forget that even natural remedies and herbs were discovered by someone trying something. Even with a middle aged point of view, you have to agree that in those days they had midwives or other people(depending on time and culture) to help them with different situations.
The only difference today is that we call them doctors.

You do realize that women live to be much older now than in the middle ages, right? That is because of the advances in medicine! Women are not experts on the cervix but gynecologists are. If you don't believe in that, then that's fine. But I don't think anyone here is really going to be able to give you a solution to your problem.

Oh I'm a feminist and I still think we should be checked out every year I agree with icj14 women do live a lot longer now but we all are entitled to out own a opinion

Well thats fine then. I was wondering if my problem could be answered, not everything has to be gyn tested! It doesn't instantly mean that I must have a cyst or cancer you know!?! I'd rather live a shorter life and believe in my morals! It's not just matters to do with the sexual organs that make people live longer now! And thats the problem, people are living too long!

You could have a fibroid, too. But totally not the point here. Hopefully you will be able to have a solution that works for you because your problem sounds really uncomfortable.
