Ladies, do you talk about sex with other women?
Just curious. Do you talk about your sex life - either in general terms, or details with other women? As a guy, I've only talked about sex with other men twice, both initiated by them. Once was a guy who was bi, and I think was trying to get an feeling for whether I'd be interested in him (or him and his wife). The other was just telling a funny / interesting story. I've had one woman (when not in a relationship) talk to me. -
Intimate and personal details I keep between me and my man, like dimensions of body parts and personal combinations for orgasms. But otherwise in general yes, I do talk to my friends about sex. I have a pretty open group of friends, so we talk about toys, positions, a new thing we tried that worked or didn't work. Sometimes conversation can help you learn new things, or what sort of things to try, so I'm open to it.Comment

I've talked about sex subjects with others once in a while, but not in a group of friends.
I had several conversations with an American guy in Thailand who had an inflatable implant put in to overcome ED. He was very happy with it and said that it returned a part of his life that had become impossible to do. Of course he was bragging a bit, but it gave me information about what such a device could do in a good outcome.I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience.

Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance by lying supinely on our backs and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot?
From a speech by Patrick Henry on March 23, 1775 at St. John's Church, Richmond, VirginiaComment

Only with a few friends that I know are sexually open. I refuse to talk about with others, if I know they're going to pass judgment or babble off to their perverted husbands. If you saw my thread on how a friend's husband was trying to engage me in a three-some, you will know what I mean."Dating is like slow dancing. Let the man lead, or you will fall all over your feet"Comment

I've always been shy and distant talking about personal matters growing up, but now it's getting to the point of where I need to talk out some things going on. Gone are the teenage years of being able to board myself up in my bedroom and playing PS2 to conquer urges and issues.
I have a few friends I lightly talk to about it. My sister usually has the most active ear and most comfortable vibes, and I still have to grit my teeth to talk to her about things.Comment

I talk about sex with a couple of close friends and my sisters. My sisters and I have talked about boys and sex since middle school, so it just seems normal now. Pretty much reveal everything to each other, which I am sure BFs might not like if they knew what we were telling each other...heheheComment

Talking about such a private thing can be intimidating to some, however, with close understanding and open and like-minded people it can be a good way to enhance one's experience and understanding of human sexuality. Not to mention to understand ones own dimensions and responses to this intricate human phenomenon. A close group for such talks is always a blessing.Comment

I am intentionally vague about my current sex life (both here and with my real-life friends,) but when it comes to previous partners, I'm an open book. Naturally, I keep the "book" closed unless I'm reasonably close with a person, but if they're willing to bring it up, I'm willing to discuss.
The years I've spent on WH have absolutely colored the expectation of including sexual topics in with all the other things I discuss with friends, but I was pretty open even before I stumbled in here.
Nature gives us shapeless shapes,
Clouds and waves and flame,
But human expectation is that love remains the same,
And when it doesn’t, we point our fingers and blame.
Register|Contact Admin|Email Admin
Comment
