Is this an orgasm? ... or something else? It's so strange! HELP!

I'm 19 & female & really inexperienced and embarrassed, I'm not sure if this is normal!

When I am making out with someone and rubbing against them/humping (the bit before sex), I get to the point when my pelvic area starts to throb really hard (pleasurably). That's normal right? But then when the feeling kind of gets to this "peak", my leg (esp. my right one) gets this really strong, aching near the thigh area (but not really close to pelvis area).

It hurts a bit, like I bumped something horizontal across the leg... but it's more of an aching pain and its somewhat pleasurable (like it doesn't HURT like a cut or graze). Sometimes that ache is so strong I collapse onto the person/can't stand and afterwards, it takes a couple of hours for the aching to finally die down.

I've never hurt myself on my legs and this ONLY happens during sexual encounters (and once when I was DREAMING about having sex, I woke up with an aching leg!).

It's so embarrassing!! What is it?
    Please help me! THANK YOU!

My guess is that you are tensing your muscles and the aching is because of this. Not being able to stand means you tensed your muscles so hard and long that fatigue set in. Where you show it in the picture is the center of the muscle for straightening your leg.

      Thank you jns for replying!

Is the tensing of muscle normal like this? I feel the rest of my body is fine.. Its always focussed on that leg (the right one)

Maybe by subconsciously focusing there you subconsciously heighten you excitation.

Concentrating on a specific part of your body is normal and it isn't always the areas that normally get stimulated.

Hi Preyevate, How sexual arousal works can be different from one person to the next, so what you're experiencing could be very normal for you. If you like it and it gives you pleasure, then go with it. And I know what you're saying when something begins to ache from sexual arousal, because when I get fully aroused, I feel that throughout my body. When I was younger (11-12) and just discovering sex, I was puzzled by as to how my body got sexually aroused, but I loved the sexual feelings that filled my body. I would flirt with boys a lot because it would trigger sexual arousal.
